  1. I understand, I had a programmer when I first started modding. Went with a custom tune and will never look back. I'd say if your mildly modded the most scanning you'd need to do is your AF ratio. Heavily modded guys have more to look out for. And at that point you'd just want to buy hptuners or efilive so you can really see everything and make adjustments accordingly if you have the knowledge to do so.

This is all my opinion though.

  2. Your jumping in pretty deep by wanting to do l92 heads, which requires intake, throttle body, xlink, and cam change. Not to mention all the little things you'll need.

What are your goals for the truck?

    And budget?

  3. Got me there man. I'm not sure, I bought it a long time ago when I first got cammed and never used it.

    Found this on pt.net though

"Theory behind 2 pumps in-line, or in "series" is that with 2 pumps, they will split the pressure duties between the two pumps. So each pumps is only have to supply about 30psi. Since fuel pumps are flow rated at usually 43.5 psi, but they will flow more volume at less pressure. That is how you get more fuel past the stock pump, with an in-line pump, then just the stock pump could flow by its self."

  4. Well for one its $400 and then you need to know what to change ontop of that which I assume you could pay someone to do which is the same thing as getting a custom pcm tune but more expensive for this diablo route. Hptuners and efilive have a crazy amount of parameters, and the tuner knows what he's doing so there's generally no worrying. And if you can get a live tune, that much better.
