  2. well for 1 wheatley locks his tunes so there are no "CHANGES" made. and as far as ur SCT thing, this new person doesnt have enough knowledge to know how to change tunes so BROKE1, thats not worth ANYTHING FOR ANYONE.
  3. check the connection and also clean ur TB. it must be dirty, and while ur at it clean the maf.
  4. yes mine was slow. for a stock converter small cam N/A, it was damn fast, ask steve.

  7. why in the HELL would u want SLP?? no they do not make a bolt on cat-back because they sound balls gross on trucks. u can replace the cats with cutouts or get longtubes and an ORY. cheap- pacesetter, obx moderate- throley tri-ys, expesnsive- ARH and so on. i think everyone will agree that magnaflow and corsa are the ONLY good choices for a truck.
  8. on my WS6, my oil pressure goes to like 25ish when there is 0 load on the motor in a high gear without throttle and increases and drops between shifts depending where i hit the clutch. the sending units suck balls on ALL gm vehicles and it COULD be that but sounds like its the pump since it goes to 0 when the motor is off. my vote goes for SENDING UNIT!!!! its not hard to replace really but its a PITA laying on the motor to get to it behind the intake. its not the motor in the cluster because that drops to 0 when the truck is off.
  9. if u have the money, grab a 6.0 and an 80e. if the 5.3 is good still. just do the 80e swap. if ur 5.3 is burned out y waste time with another one since u will b pulling the motor? just grab that 6.0 they are EVERYWHERE/
  10. danny and i got my cam out AND in when we did my swap with the radiator just leaned towards the front of the truck. i had pics of it but dont know where.
  11. find a local gun shop or a gun museum and ask them. it could be worth a lot if its older but there are SOOOO many replicas out there. could be worht 50 bucks or could be worth 5 grand. u never know.
  12. the ONLY 60/65E builder worth it is jerry (Retired99's dad). his trannys are incredible. now if ur gonna get the money id do the 80 swap. depends how much power u actually want to push and what future mods u will have.

  14. ok let me put it this way. if u have MORE power going to ur tweets, u have a problem. the 6 channels that sold to the public are for cars with 6 speakers such as my trans am. u NEVER NEVER NEVER power tweeters directly to an amp. u MUST have a crossover that takes the power in from the amp and splits it about 80-20 (80 to the mid bass driver and 20 to the tweet) u are just wasting time trying to add power to replacement tweeters in the factory hole.
  15. what headers and did u order the hp software? if u have never tuned on ur own DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT start changing things on ur own. all u will do is blow up everything immediately without knowledge of tuning urself. get on a forum and READ READ READ READ READ READ READ.

  17. what the hell are u trying to wire 6 speakers? unless ur running kick panels with components u dont need a 6 channel. and i dont even think they make one for the public. and there is NO TWEETER MADE TO HANDLE AMP POWER. the max input is around 10 watts MAX. u dont hook up an amp directly to a tweeter. if u have a 4 channel, buy a set of components, drill a hole in the door panel about 2 inches above the factory hole, run ur input wire into the crossover (from ur amp) then to the midd bass driver etc... dont use the factory tweets. they are garbage and designed to be pushed from the FACTORY AMP. once u get an aftermarket amp to the new components there is no need for the factory tweets. just unplug them and leave them be.
  18. well turns out my truck made it to the track today. my buddy called me and said the guy that bought it took it to the track and ran the crap out of it. dont know what it ran yet.
  19. dude that is FVCKING clean!!!!!!! . a hell of a lot better than an sts kit. is it intercooled?
  20. seriously will paint the cladding and clean it, put it under a cover, get a bottle of lotion and some tissues and sit in a lawn chair in the garage side note, looks awesome but im serious about hurrying up painting the cladding.
