    christian will do it if u send him the cluster. 60 plust like 10 shipping and if u want to do the steering wheel controls, lights etc, it will be 10 bucks for each set (driver and passenger window switches, and 10 for steering wheel controls)

  2. just wanted to post some pics of my cluster we did this past week. cut the dash bezel layover thing so the leds would be 100% blue and no greenish tint to them. still waiting for the time to do all the other little bulbs in the entire truck (except for the radio PITA)

     

    due to how bright christians WHITE LED'S were, we changed the resistors from 480's to 570's and this is on the brightest setting. the whole truck lights up blue inside so this is bright enough for me. only took about 1 hr total from taking it out of the truck, taking it apart, marking where the needles went to putting the new leds in as well. oh and btw i have BLUE turn signals :D

    my buddy christian, lives here in texas with us. we did mine in less than an hour last week and that was with breaking a resistor wire and trimming the odom. cover sleeve. he can do it if u send the cluster too him/ all the parts u want done and hook u up with a great price. jon (idahoblkss) knows him very well. they were back and forth on this thing.

     

     

    heres what mine looks like, (i have completely blue everything, waiting to have the time do do the steering wheel controls, windows/locks. a/c etc...

  4. Mine always fold in/out fine but sometimes the drivers side mirror won't return to the same position it was in before I folded it in. Kinda a PITA! Hope you get it figured out Steve.

     

    :withstupid" mine does the same thing. i have had it not fold in and ive pressed the button, popped it closed then folded them out by the control and then if the driverside one doesnt do it, then just fold it out again and it "SHOULD" catch on the mirror gears

  5. theres another thread with this texas argument. longtubes are 100% legal in texas, however a cat MUST be installed. i myself have longtubes with a custom built y pipe and a REAL cat that has been hollowed out. its located behind the crossmember and passes everytime. u need to get longtubes and get rid of the cats for the sound ur looking for.

  6. first off u cant just gut the cats and drive it. ur gonna need a custom tune to clear the rear o2s or ur gonna shoot codes left and right. second u dont need to drop the cross member, it will help but is not necessary. as far as sound, it will change but it will be a raspier sound. on top of that it wont give u any performance gains except a little more flow.

     

    if i were u, i would buy a set of longtubes, get the y pipe with it and run 3" all the way back with a CUSTOM TUNE!!!!

     

    if u do any bolt removing, soak ALL the bolts in wd-40 overnight and they should break free pretty easily

  7. traded a remington 870 exp youth 20ga, mossberg 500 12 ga pump and 250 cash for this bad boy.

     

    gen 3 glock 23 40 cal with 2 13 rd mags, 10 rd mag, badass stormlake barrel that i havent put on yet (Still having fun with the factory barrel). ive tried 3 different holsters for my concealed one and i decided the 20$ glock sport/compact universal glock holster fits and feels the best.

  8. The short answer is NO..For one, LT headers arte illegal..so you fail the visual..And the cats cannot be moved..does every single tech know where they orig were??

     

     

    wrong. longtube headers are NOT illegal in almost every state, maybe not cali but for damn sure 100% legal in texas. i have a fake cat for visual inspection behind the crossmember. it has passed TWICE in the last year for visual. as long as the cats are there (u only have to have 1 in texas if ur running a y pipe).

     

    as far as smog, they wont pass UNLESS ur fuel is leaned out dramatically which is not safe.

  9. first off what are ur mods, 2nd what is the temperature, humidity level etc..., 3rd do u shoot white smoke out, how many miles are on the truck and can u smell a sweet smell from the exhaust?

     

     

    if ur shooting PURE white smoke, u might have a blown head gasket and that is causing coolant to make it through the block and into the heads burning it up.

     

    have u drained the fluid lately? if so it takes a little bit for the motor to fill up with coolant therefore u could just be a little low

  10. :withstupid: the sts kit is a great STARTER kit as is. if ur not going for huge numbers and still want to drive the truck around, GO FOR IT!!!! i myself had an sts kit that i had chopped and cut for certain reasons. if u have it done right and tuned its a great kit. i had major tuning issues and since i cant tune or read the logs very well, i ditched the kit. if i had the time like ray has (chpspecial) and the knowledge, i wouldnt have ditched the sts and gone n/a because once they go, they are fun as hell. sts kits are cheaper and work with some supporting mods. just like any turbo kit or blower that is the bottom end or mid end, these motors can handle 10 PSI WITHOUT A PROBLEM with the proper tuning. a radix usually pushes 8-9 lbs and the basic entry STS kit does the same.

     

     

    if i were u, i would get it if u like how turbos sound. dont forget, turbos take wasted exhaust to make power, blower TAKE POWER TO MAKE POWER!!!! the sts is great and with the proper tuning u will b good to go.

     

     

    also, u might want to hollow ur cats or get rid of them before u add a rear mount. the extra fuel enrichment clogs them very quickly as i learned the hard way lol
