Engine and trans SOLD! Still have intake and VVT parts.

Don't know if anyone is even looking in this thread anymore, but I just picked up the l92 that went to 6l80e I just bought and I need this other engine and trans out of my way. The 6.0 and 4l80e are both back up for sale. First $1500 takes both!

I decided not to sell my engine, but I just picked up a 6L80e for my project. So if anyone is interested in the 4L80e, it is for sale and I'll consider any reasonable offer. So hit me with an offer and we'll see where were at.

I have a 6.0l and 4l80e out of an 04 2500 HD that I bought to put in my square body. I decided to go a different route. The engine is complete with harness and ECM. It has 46k miles on it. It has all accessories except the a/c compressor. Asking $2500 I also have an LY6 intake (complete) I was planning to use after I swapped the heads and the VVT parts from the same engine. They were pull offs from a crate engine and have seen no miles. Asking $300 for the intake and $150 for the VVT parts.

is it the stock console? you have a pic of it?

I don't know, I guess I'm just young and naive. I personally don't think low gas prices will hurt anything other than oil based companies. I work for a company that builds pumping units and power transmissions. I know that our orders are down and that we will feel a crunch sooner or later, but on the whole, I do notice prices in stores coming back down. Shipping prices drive 90% of retail prices and with cheaper freight, prices can come back down. People can consider purchasing vehicles (given they can get credit during this economy). Jobs can be created during a low oil price economy. I do know that I have more money left over every month now and the only bill that has changed is what I pay each month on fuel.... everything else is the same. The reason everything seems to cost more is because our government created $700 billion dollars of imaginary money and started giving it to every one. What the hell does that do besides lower the value of the already existing money? "A government trying to tax it's way out of debt is like trying to stand in a bucket and pick yourself up by the handle." The country sucks because everything is ridiculous over inflated and we were lead to believe that we could afford things that we really can't and then when they decide we can't really afford it all the banks want to start collecting. All the interest rates go up and lending goes down. We haven't felt it much here in my local economy everything is about the same as it has always been, but then again we never had people paying $500k for a $100k house just because it's on a better block and other things of that nature.

well like i said i knew i didnt have a shot but you always what to know how close (or far) you would do with any car. really though he wanted to race me.... I guess he was the typical older guy with money, just looking for a sure win. I'm sure I surprised him a bit. I guess he figured by looking at my car that I was the typical ricer. Granted the only thing that you can visibly see on my car (from the exterior) that isn't stock are the wheels and exhaust. My car is for the most part stock, but I do get branded just like the other imports as a ricer just because it is an import. 92 Eagle Talon AWD with minor mods.... Still it's nice to run down new GT mustangs and Z28's with my $3,000 turd

got it, so basically thats what he needs anyways, right? most amps put out the same power in a stereo set up as they would in a mono set up??? So if it say 300 at 4ohm mono, he'll basically get 150 per chanel at 2 ohm stereo right? Which would techniacally be the same thing besides have a left and right signal instead of a mono signal...

ok so i just reread your post and noticed this. if it isn't stable at 2 ohms, why do you want to run it at 2 ohms? It' will go into protect mode in about 5 minutes if set up that way.

i think the other guy is right. 2 ohm stereo will basically give you the same as a 4 ohm mono load.

i was looking for silver ones too. I was told by several people that you have to buy chrome 22's strip them and have them powder coated. As far as I know this is the truth... I haven't found them anywhere.

There are crossover games that are relaitvly the same for every console, but I would say on the whole, wii is more of an involvement console rather than a skillful one. Most of the wii games are super simple low graphics games that are meant to draw you in with there simplicity and activness. Unless you are under 12 or over 50 (not including females, they love wii at any age...) you will find yourself tired of it with a few weeks. I haven't turned mine on in over a year. I'm an rpg and fps game junky so I want games with more substance. Ones that require more brain use than flicking my wrist. I 'm stuck on the 360 just because of Oblivion and Halo. Don't get me wrong I have a ps3 also but I use it far less than the 360.

Sorry to here that she doesn't like you. I can't say that i have ever had issues with my in laws. hell they treat me better than their kids sometimes, lol. But I can see with my brother how hard it is to have tension between parents and the person you care about. Although I'd have to say my brother is an idiot and has never been with anyone who has any substance with the exception of his first wife, but 2nd shift broke that marriage.... I was on my way home from work this afternoon, so I was rockin the daily, when an 09 Viper with dealer tags starts ridin my bumper. I speed up enough to put some distance between us but I guess he thought that was me wanting to race. Either that or he thought he just needed to pick on someone in his new toy. As the highway cleared he pulled in the lane next to me and starts reving. I gave him the wtf look but still he persisted. So I figured what the hell, may as well have an idea of how bad it would be. I slowed down to about 25 and shifted into second put in to the floor and put about a half a foot on him. lol. Then as we where getting through the gears he started pulling pretty strong on me in fourth. Ran it up to about 140mph and gave up when i was about 3 cars behind. So I lost.... Not as bad as I thought though. My best time so far was a 13.1, so I'm guessing he had an 11ish sec car??

yeah he has doubter's but i think he is here to stay a while. he has a lot to prove and still being so new he doen'ts have anything to lose (metaphorically speaking)

say what you will but i think too many people wanna hold lesnar's past profession against him, plus the fact that he made a rookie mistake on his first fight, but sit back and watch, he has the will, the drive and the discipline to go the distance. not saying he will never lose again, but he will prove the doubters wrong, over and over again....
