Hey guys. I know last time I was on I said I was back but I vanished again lol. A lot has been going on. I will try to fill everyone in. As I am sure alot of you know, I got transferred in January to my company's Toyota store. It was right across the street from the GMC/Buick dealer that I was the ASM at. They brought me into the Toyota store as an ASM (Assistant Service Manager) and I was there through the whole recall ordeal. (Let me just say it was an insane experience that I would prefer not to go through again lol. And it showed me that the media is full oh crap and doesn't always have the facts) In May the recalls were slowing down and so was the shop. Right around that time the Service Manager at the Buick/GMC store quite. I had been hearing for a long time that many of the customers, techs, etc wanted me to be the Service Manager. So about three days after the other guy resigned I got pulled into the General Managers office and offered the job. I was and still am a little worried because the store is small and bussiness has been slow, but I accepted the position. My first week was all about cleaning house and fixing a bunch of stuff that was wrong. Things are going pretty good now, and it seems to be much smoother. I like the job so far and the perks are nice. And no the money is not great. But hey it is a good resume booster especially only being 24. Onto the DD part. I have been given a demo so the SS is just sitting. I am driving a 2010 Buick Lacross CXL. Heated and air conditioned seats, heated steering wheel, remote start, push button start, blue tooth, the whole nine. It is not bad, but I am certainly not going to run out and buy one. Surprisingly enough it sucks on gas. I was originally considering selling the SS and paying off some school loans, or putting a nice down payment on a new Camaro. I went out the other night though and took the SS since she had been sitting for a week and a half. In that short amount of time I forgot how fun she is to drive. So no worries she is sticking around! I am going to pay off some bills and then will probably start some more projects on her. I see that I am not the only one that has neglecting my SS duties lol. See alot of people havent been around. I hope everyone is doing well, and as always let me know if you guys need anything or any inside GM info Rob

Looks like you guys had a good time! Trucks look great everyone.

Have these on my SS. Couple install notes. Use OEM gaskets. Get band style clamps instead of regular clamps. There are a couple of shields that need to be tweaked a little to prevent rattling.

Well I managed to get the exhaust done. It still needs a little work, but at least I will be able to make the tune! I literally finished the thing today See you guys in a bit!

Talk about last minute work! I am still trying to button up the exhuast. I got screwed by the exhaust so so I am piecing the cat back together myself!

I completely missed the Time slot post. Havent been on in a few days. I emailed for the earliest spot left on Sat so hopefully early afternoon. Either way I will be there for most of the day just to hang out and see all the north east guys again.
