  1. That interior should have been a give away. Either way it's a killer truck! I'm not sure why someone would go through swapping the whole front end. I like the denali front ends and almost bought one over my truck. But a crew cab awd ss will def be a killer looking truck when done! Congrats! Best of luck getting the reg ironed out! Let's just hope no SS's died in the making of these truck.

    Led's

I saw that thread. But like I said I am trying to figure this out for other vehicles besides out pick ups.
  3. I didn't look because they didn't show up. I forgot they stopped it in 04. I would think it would be easier to paint the modling's then swap the whole front end. But hey stranger things have happened.
  4. You could do a Boss 330. Similar style/look as the TBSS wheel, but they have a good size lip on them.

    Led's

With all this talk of LED's on the board I have a couple questions. I know that when you replace a bulb with an LED you need to place a resistor in the circuit as well. What I don't know if how to choose the proper resistor. I thought there was a thread a while ago discussing this but I couldn't find it. So here's my questions. 1. How do you determine the proper resistor to use? 2. How do you determine the size LED to use? 3. How do you know where to place the resistor in the circuit? 4. How do you determine which side is positive and which is negative? My buddy is thinking about doing his Ram so I am looking to help him out. Thanks for the help. Rob
  6. I like those. I think something like similar to the TBSS wheels would look good too. A six spoke design. It's going to look real good when you drop it.
  7. Look's killer as usual!! What are you going to do for wheels?
  8. I will refer back to my original post. I don't think it could be a Sierra Denali because it doesn't have the pronounced "hips" on the bed side due to the AWS. From this angle it does not appear to have that.

    Carmd

Cheap scan tools are just that. Cheap. It's nice that you can pull codes, but that's it. You can't perform tests or monitor anything with it.
  10. I don't think it is a Sierra Denali. It isn't AWS (No "hips" on the bed). It is more than likely a 4wd 1500 Z71. Unless someone really went throught the thing and converted it to to awd. It can't be a 2500hd, or 1500hd, or a Denali. Does it really have a 6.0? Are you sure it's not a 5.3?
  11. Nice pics! I love that silver Camaro. Super clean! I can't wait for nice weather!
  12. Not really feeling it. The front end just looks funny and what the hell is with the tonneau?? Don't really care for the interior either.
  13. It's nice but there is just something about the name. That and the what the price tag will end up being.
  14. That only makes the addiction worse
  15. What happened man? Edit: Pic's? I'll see what I can do for you. I may know a few people local to us.
  16. Yeah a little too many. We needed a bigger station but there was no way in hell we were going to get it. The sad part is that they used to have the man power to pack all the trucks. Not so much anymore. The Salsbury Hevy rescue in the picture of the hand pumper had something like 11 seats with packs in the back of it. We had a mutual aid fire one night and we got called for that truck and man power. We had enough people to pack that thing full and still had an engine crew plus some others left over. Now they are lucky to turn enough guys for an engine crew.
  17. Yeah get used to it. It is extremely addicting. Before you get to into it have someone hide your credit cards! Lol. Welcome aboard!
  18. And just for fun a 1846 Button hand pumper. Morrisville Fire Dept is the original owner of these piece as well. Few of these left out there especially still owned by the original purchaser. Edit: And if you look in the back ground you can see our old Salsbury Heavy Rescue. 242 took the place of this truck and the old 242.
  19. These are all of my old house. Don't have any of my current house. Truck 247 Engine 241 and Rescue/Pumper 242 Rescue/Pumper 242 Station 24 Old 242 For Sale Tanker 246 Squad 248 (Left) and Rescue 245 (Right) Truck 247 and Engine 241 I have driven everything in the house except Truck 247. I have to say 242 drives like the Cadillac of firetrucks. I miss this house!
  20. I like "Sin City Customs". As far as the background I like #3 but it'll be hard to read on the page.
  21. That's nuts! They also said pre turbo. Can't imagine it turboed It would be cooler if it was still awd though lol
  22. Looks good! What did you use for clue on the headliner?
