  1. Last time I got pissed which was over 2 years ago now I ripped off my sun visor off the roof and threw my phone at my dash and cracked it. Then banged the phone on the steering wheel a few times. My phone now looks like a moon, haha. I gotta give nokia credit for making a pretty indestructible phone! I'm still mad at myself for doing that... You defiantly topped me by a lot killing a Fridge though!!!
  2. I think it all depends on where you live cuz around here in LA you cant get much more than 30,000 miles on break pads, but I use brakes more than the gas!!! arg!
  3. My favorite most accurate sounding box I've ever had in my truck was 2 6 1/2's in a specially designed 4th order horn loaded band pass box. it was the most accurate bass I have ever had, and blended with my highs very well, but if you want low exaggerated bass go bigger. Personally I have that now with 4 sealed 10's under my back seat and I would rather have flat accurate bass over show off any day! BTW I really like digital designs and you would not be disapointed in them!
  4. I'll talk to my professor and see If he can change the laws, dummies!!! I hate that now education and degrees come before Common sense!!!
  5. Super clean!! The truck looks really good without having to do any appearance mods!
  6. If you are looking at using the factory remotes and have a spare CAT-5 running to your TV my favorite choice is to have a Niles IR repeater system. Only reason I say Niles over other brands is because we have never had one fail!! Only disadvantage to this setup is you will have a small IR sensor attached to the front of your TV unless it has an IR out on the back of it which a lot of pioneers do have! Niles IR repeater kit Good Luck! And personally I would stay clear of logitech remotes, they are slow, and are meant for the average consumer to program which doesn't allow you to make the program perfect. We have used "Universal Remote Control" and "Philips pronto" for great budget remotes, but you have to be a tad bit of a computer savvy guy to figure it out, but well worth it in the end if you design a fool proof remote
  7. My friend saw my Volant intake under my hood and said wow, you never told me your truck is supercharged!!! and I told him no, and he continued to argue since his friend has a Volant intake on his truck and he calls it a supercharger, lol. or my other friend claims he took the Turbo off his dads power stroke diesel and put it on his Mazda mini van, lol
  8. I'm a DJ, and personally don't like it, lol. Its just nothing like DJing at all, but I guess if you have fun with it good, but it just frustrated me, haha
  9. Just imagine all the mods you can do to your SS with the 10 grand difference and if anything goes wrong you can easily cover it $$ wise and save $$ and have a better ride in the end! I would just keep it and fix it up a bit!
  10. I don't play games, but I bought it for my cousin at midnight in exchange for the website he just designed me. $60 isn't to bad for a website!!!
  11. I have a 2000 silverado so I have read up a lot on this. There a a couple methods. one is you buy a bezel from a 2003 and newer silverado and it will slide right in and you would buy a double din bracket for the radio and another is one guy took the dash and did many precise measurements and moved the AC bracket down a tiny bit, moved the center divider between the radio and the ac down. Retrofitted the stock clips that hold the head unit in place to hold a double din, and has to smooth everything out and paint, but by far one of the cleanest installs I have seen. He had a write up on it posed on a website, but I checked and it is deleted now... and there was actually a third method I cant remember, but 1999-2002 silverado trucks are 1.5 din and will need to be altered to fit a double. I actually found the write up. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/825435/3
