Anyone using the new Viper 5901? I got a good deal on one from a friend and bought it from him last week, just waiting for it to get here now! Just wanted to see if anyone had it or knew any good/bad things about it and where or who the cheapest place to get it installed might be. Im in the east Texas area. Thanks in advance guys! Zach

a friend of mine tested a standard ported box for his single cab sierra against a probox with the same measurements, both times use a Kicker CVX 10" and the same amp for both and the difference in sound was crazy. The probox sounded much much better and louder! needless to say he sold the standard mdf carpeted box go with a probox

well sir, you wouldnt happen to know what that additional module is would you? Im not too keen on spending several hundred dollars just to start my truck on a cold morning. Have you used one of these before or have you just heard alot of good things about them?

Wait, so will this work with the stock alarm systems on our trucks? Because at 59.99 thats hard to beat, especially when the viper systems are several hundred dollars for a fancy key fob and to start the damn thing from 2 miles away...who needs that crap?

I know one of the users on here has the LPP headers and likes them, PM BigCountry. I plan on picking up a set of them before i do my cam swap, they seem to be really nice headers.

in theory they SHOULD do something, kinda like a carb spacer, but i can vouch also and say from personal experience that they dont do much of anything...unless you get one with grooves in it, then they whistle!

Yes, it does have the screen still on it but alot of people take them out.

Two of my tires are to the point i need new ones but the other 2 are in good shape. Anyone got a pair of 275/55/20 stock goodyears layin around with 50-75% tread on them? Ive looked on ebay and havent found anything im really looking for. If not, does anyone have 4 used tires with 50-75% tread or more left that they need to get rid of?? Zach

most likely theres a wire on the harness too close to a power wire or getting the noise from somewhere. As far as the ticking sound it is most likely a lifter, although idk why the lifters would be crapping out at only 80k but thats okay, ill be replacing them when i do my cam swap this winter. as far as the stereo goes im going to pull the head unit out when i get the time and check all my wires. its hard to fit all that crap back in the dash with that big a$$ harness.

thats just it...i dont have RCAs or power/ground wires ran on the truck anywhere other than stock wires. The only thing aftermarket in the whole system is the head unit. Im thinking it might be one of the wires on the harness for the deck picking up some engine noise and transferring it to the speaker. But now I have bigger problems, the truck seems to have a slight ticking noise that sounds like its coming from the intake manifold?? and i also think that the stock fan clutch is going out...so the radio is the least of my worries anymore

Ill probably be contacting you and angel05ss more when i do get around to doing my cam swap cause i need all the help and info i can get, and his truck sounds awesome. if i get some money this weekend i might can take these off your hands, but still good luck with the sale, its a very good price.

the catch can group buy went with no problems...dont see why this couldnt as well. plus, im in the market for a tc if i can ever get the right part number. Still workin on that man, ill get back to you when i figure it out.
