How the hell do you loose a crank bolt? lol
I TQ'ed my ARP crank bolt to 250 ft/lbs and it ain't going anywhere.
When you start making real power weird stuff starts happening like losing crank bolts ,water pump pulleys start disapearing, belts snap in half , Intake charge piping puts dents in your hood , presurize your coolant system to where your radiator cracks and leaks coolant all kinds of cool stuff like that and yes I'm speaking from Expearance lol.

Yeah I used a OEM one , what's wrong with those?
Lil update also : after inspecting a lil closer I noticed piston #4 isn't coming to the top of the bore at the top of the stroke so I'm thinking I got a bent rod :-( motor will be pulled out in the next couple days and more then likely replaced with a lq4 I got laying around with all my good stuff from my other motor. I will start to build my other block piece by piece or might start a lsx build and peice my other motor out still kinda in the air about it.
This is what it looks like at the top of the stroke, its about an 1/8" from being flush where it should be...

.
Your such a d#@$ but that was Soooooooooo funny! LMAO! These pics were pre inncedent so I guess it would be more along the lines of picking out my plot... lol. Were you taking the truck there to lay your engine to rest???
-
looks sweet! are those 22'' steel wheels? cant really tell in pic
They are 20" centerline archers.
Thanks guys I want to go back and get some more shots with more tombstones in it.

yes its off a 2005 tahoe and no it doesn't go all the way to the wheel wells I think it looks fine thou . If you didn't know you wouldn't notice type of thing.I like the front lip, I have read up on this throughout the site as I am considering putting on on... I take it this is the classic "taho" one?
In reading I have seen comments where the side does not wrap around with the bumper? Anyways truck is looking good!
How did yours turn out? Have any pics to share?

I would get a 50mm gate min "IMO" and think about getting a n20 kit to spool the turbo off the line if your wanting to build boost off the line good.

I got one on , look at the pic in my SIG.

There's a way to do a dyno pull with out the front shaft in with out hurting the t-case its been do e a hundred times before.
-
Well got the valve covers off and all the springs and rockers looked fine and everything was tight but didn't want to disaseble it more then that till I get home and in the comfort of my own garage with my own tools . At this point unless its a valve or lifter its got to be something in The rotating assembly. Mission was a complete failure and I'm extremely disappointed but life goes on. Not sure on what the next move will be on the truck at this point I guess it depends on what's damaged.

Well it was a pretty disapointing night tonight. We got the truck on the lift to pull the front drive shaft and couldn't get the drive shaft to sperate from the transfer case it would get like 75% of the way out and would not come the rest of the way out so we said screw it and put it back in and we would do a couple WOT pulls down the street to get the waste gate dialed in to the boost level we needed. First pull we did hit 20 psi and I lifted cause we were trying to hit in the 14-16 psi mark. So we clicked the boost controller 5 clicks to bring it down and we went for the second pull . We hit 24-25 psi and something popped and truck back fired and started making g a clicking noise immediately so we limpped back to shop (1000ft) and started pulling plugs. We pulled all but plugs 1 and 3 and everything looked perfect so we called it a night and decided that we will pull the covers tomorrow and see if its a lifter or broken spring. Hopefully its not the rotating assembly so cross your fingers for me and say a couple prayers. I'll keep u guys posted.

If all goes good we are hitting the track tonight at midnight mayham. I'll keep you guys posted on the results!...
Tipping on Carry-Out / Take-Out

It kinda pisses me off that tips have come to be expected and no longer given because somebody did a good job. I also can't stand it when gradituity is added to your bill because you have a big party this falls under the whole no longer earned but expected thing i was talking abiut and usually will result in OK service at best . With that said I will tip big if the service was good but will tip bad if the service was bad.
