Hey guys. Today my front-end started making a weird noise. at low speeds its just a off and on squeak but at higher speeds it a very audible squeak and a deep rubbing noise. All of it sounds like its coming from the driver's side front wheel. So I jacked it up just to make sure everything was nice and tight. When doing so however, I noticed there was A LOT of play with the tire. Fully bolted down I could move it at least a ince to an inch & 1/2 while holding the tire at 9 and 3. I guess best case scenario is its a bad wheel bearing but im not going to hold my breath... If you guys have any ideas on what it could be I would much appreciate it! Thanks in advance! ~Sam

Update: I was at the end of my rope so I took it to the stealership...370 bucks later they replaced the front o2 sensor and test drove it and it rus fine...Well better then it was...after all of that would the PCM need to re-adapt to my tune? Or did they just wipe the tune off all together? Thanks for the help guys...Wish I would have looked at the front o2 sensor to begin with. All of the Autozones said it was a rear o2 sensor problem

Yeah, I was actually going to go out right now and clean the front o2 since it is probably black w/ carbon. I don't have any reason at the moment to think it is a blown cat since nothing has been acting up before the flood. And by further inspection I had 2 busted spark plugs which I have replaced. Anyways, I have bought a replacement cat for the rear o2 since that one was giving no reading. Then it started saying low voltage so I soldered all of the wires and double head shrink-ed it. After that I unplugged the batter to wipe the CEL and it was still misfiring but no CEL yet. Oh and I forgot to mention the CEL has flashed a few time but I pulled over as soon as it started.

Ok so long story short I was driving down a flooded road and some ass ran me into deeper water. Needless to say my engne light came on and I had it checked out (I did not write down the code numbers) but it was getting no reading from the post-cat o2 (driver side) and random cylinder misfire. When I first start it it idles smoothe and does not seem to misfire, only after 20sec or so does it start to get rough and noticable misfire. I pulled a spark plug from the passenger side and it was clean and then 2 from the drivers side and they were black w/ carbon. Bought a new o2 sensor and replaced the one w/ no response which seemed to do nothing to fix the issue. I am really at a loss for what else I can do. I do not think I blew a spark plug or got water in the engine. After I put in the new o2 I unplugged the battery to clear out the check engine light. But it came back. Sorry for the long post but im trying to explain as much as possible. If anyone as any idea I would greatly appreciate the input thanks in advance guys oh and p.s. it is running very rich...

lol yeah it hapened on my old silverado. I went and bought some athletic wrist bands to put on the arm rest so I wouldent keep scuffing up my elbow. Hopefully I wont wear it down too much anymore with that on there lol. It looks stupid but its functional!

It was sad to see it hit 100k...But all in all the truck is running strong. It has a ABS problem but that is it for major issues. The only other thing is a area of cracking leather on the driver side armrest. Next on the list is a Viper Alarm System, new shocks and a coolant and trans flush. Hopefully it will last another 100k!

I thought anything bigger then the stock tube size would make the maf go crazy? I could be totally wrong though!

I do Seafoam evey 5k miles or so to clean out the internals a bit. Maybe running that or some injector cleaner could help out a. Maybe cleaning your air filter too. I know they sell cleaners to spray on to the MAF but idk where to pick up a can at Other then that just don't be a lead foot

lol that was good. Top Gear seems to run England which is why they can do pretty much anything haha. I love how Jeremy Clarkson can be doing all of that and still be able comment on the headlights.

I have no idea why these people get special treatment. If I had robbed a bank and made off with peoples money I would most likely get a ass beating from the cops, put into the back of a police and hauled off to jail until I rot. However these a$$ holes get to sit in their million dollar homes (which they paid for with their STOLEN money!) and watch TV and have a drink. This world is so messed up...Anyone want to start a collection and move to a island somewhere far far away? We can build a drag strip!

Yeah thats what I was thinking too but looking at it from a distance it's not too noticeable. Maybe I will get up the will power again in the future to mess w/ that silicone again lol

Decided to clear my headlights the other day. They turned out pretty well I thought. Also got my SilveradoSS.com decal in today! Also I found this one on my memory card from when it snowed down here in Houston. Thought this was pretty cool. looks like a Ram symbol though haha. ( I did not move the snow, it just fell that way lol )
