Bulb is going out. Time for a new set! As for getting a new set.. I just went on Amazon and found some new bulbs when mine went bad for $30 and they are doing just fine.

Great link for CAI info. And as for 'sounding' like a s/c I guess you can blow some money on a TB spacer and get a whistle effect from it. Just go with Volant if you like closed in CAIs or K&N if you are wanting an open element one. The K&N does get the added bonus of "ram air" over the headlight though.

That would be nice. I'm sure they would get a lot more attention for custom applications like flowmaster and magnaflow do.

Sound like everything work out well. Glad it stayed with someone you know. I think the worst part of selling it to a stranger would be the day when you see it pass you with every autozone accessory on it and dirty as hell

A lot seems to depend on luck and your personal view of what drone is. I have LTs cats and 3inch pipes all the way back to a magnaflow dual in dual out and I have very little drone. Of course you can drive around for a few weeks with no muffler and then see where your views on "drone" are after that lol
