  1. I've been seeing some on ebay they go for like under 100 bucks the the polished or aluminum finish and they have the one where u mount the coils on top of the cover or without the mounting hole either one looks great in my opinion I believe I'm going to be ordering some for my 6.0 pretty soon cant wait to get started on it. Also yeah u should of bought it from ur friend that with a 6.0 fully bolt on in the 69 easy low 12s maybe even high 11s if u sacrificed some stuff. Check those covers out I think they're a pretty good deal.

  2. Hey Matt looks good ready to bolt it in, if it were mine I would paint the top cover on the intake that copper color would really set the motor off in my opinion, also I was bored yesterday and got on google and typed "procharger for sale" and it poped up that you had one for sale did you ever get rid of it or no? If no what does it need and does it work fine etc. Really like the way that motor looks especially with that color then the aluminum heads.

  3. I installed some 241's(milled) on my friends truck with a 216/220 cam and it worked pretty good but now I'm going 6.0 w/L92 heads and I sold him my cnc ported 243's were going to get these milled and should pull like crazy!!! I use to have a cam similar to that I believe your goin to need at least a 3600 stall and like some 4.10 gears to get into the (sweet spot)////Also what you could do is mill down your 862 heads since they have a smaller cc and run a thinner head gasket to bump up the compression and you should be good.

  4. Finally made it out to the track friday night and it was real crowded some kind of drag racing event was going on got to run my truck, but it spun real bad(street tires) need some slicks this was in 80degree weather(down in south texas still hot) the truck was on 22s in front and originals on back

On the first run ran like a 15.0@96 (spun real bad 1-2 I would let off and hit it again and would just spin more) was really dissapoointed so ran it again after about an hour of waiting to make a 2nd pass finally got it.

second run truck went 14.2@98mph (still with some wheel spin) rolled out real slowly when tree turned green and at about 25-30 guned it spun some but still went a 14.2 I know 13's are in there easily with this set up just need some slicks so I can get a hard launch(truck takes off pretty hard when ran with slicks)

Trying to get the best et out of it before my 6.0 goes in heads will probably be taken off pretty soon once my buddy gives me the other have of the money.

Hopefully goin to borrow a friends slicks and see what it runs best the truck has gone was 13.7 w/regrind cam and some busted up lifters w/just bolt ons on slicks I know the truck is way faster than that now just thaught I could be able to get away with out slicks and pull some good times but these tires spun more than my 22s hopefully I'll make it out again and see what happens

  5. yeah the 6.0 I got has the l92 heads aluminum block thats why I was asking, I never got to bolt on a ls6 intake on my 243s cnc'd on my 5.3 to see how much difference it would make, going to check into that on the but if I can get a car intake off ebay for around 250-300 and that comes with injectors like urs already cause injectors by themselves on texas speed are 420+.Will be looking around to see what I come up with thanks,Matt

  6. Looks good I knew it was going to in that copper color is nice did u spray it with rattle can or spray gun and did u use high temp paint, cause I've been wanting to paint my 440 for my roadrunner its candy red but they'res no candy red in high temp so do you think the regular candy would hold with the heat if I were to use it? Once again look amazing going to look better in that engine bay and tearing up the streets///heres a pic of it with rattle can but i'm kinda picky with my cars has to be as close to perfect as possible

  7. Heres some more pics of mine and my brothers truck in the pic his didnt have air in the shock we were bearly putting it back together we had just finished his underbed c notch he had the mini c notch and the thing would hit real bad underbed c notch made a world of difference real smooth ride now. He has (shorter)sway bar links drop springs and I believe he has drop arms and in the back underbed c notch flip kit 2in blocks and shackles this thing will hit(transmission crossmember) on the yellow reflectors when he switches lanes and really rides smooth

  8. Heres a picture of my 06 crew cab its got like a 5/8 or 6/8 I got lower control arms drop springs (shorter) sway bar links and drop shocks in front and in back a djm flip kit w/c notch and shackles w/air shocks in the back and it rides pretty nice shock help for when I go out of town just air them up and it picks up and has a real smooth ride, but I'm running 295/30/22 on my 22x10 ss wheels they stop making these but when mine go out I'm going with 285/30/22 toyos, I wouldn't do it with a 285/35/22 my brothers got like a 6/9 or 6/10 on his single cab and it rubbed bad in front hes running 265/35/22 NITTOS 420S heres some pics we did all the work ourselves to both of them

  11. Mike at street kills in arizona he sell these on his site for 1350 without the valve job +shipping so I ended paying like 1500 something like that I believe the intake runners are 230cc and the chambers I belive are 64-65 cc///// On the cam I paid like 435 for it and hardly used it less than a 1000 miles I'm not sure on the lobes its a custom grind by a local speed shop here(some of the best around here) I could probably take 280+shipping its practacly brand new heres a picture of the cam I believe these are XER lobes but not so sure need to ask
