ill go against the grain on this one...im running 2 flowmaster 40s out the back right now and im pretty happy with it...personally, i like it loud and the flows arent quiet...imo, cant go wrong with the flowmasters ...another option to consider (if you really want to make people's ears bleed...) would to be to look into getting some of the single chamber flowmaster 10 delta force race mufflers...sound pretty mean

i don't blame you for not wanting to drop 700 on a muffler...thats a lot i think these are the right PaceSetters...theyre going for $292 which isnt bad considering how much all the other headers are im looking into getting these myself as soon as i get the money

thanks man...right now im not sure what i am going to go with for the tune. ive been reading around on here and seems like everybody has nothing but good things to say about zippy and wheatley. havent heard much about black bear but i'll look into it and check it out. regardless, ive still got a lot of reading up to do. im running a spectre 9900 for my cai...$105 from jegs.

whats goin on?? just joined the site today. i have been reading on here for about 6 months or so and figured it was finally time to create an account. im from the huge metropolis of newport, tennessee nestled back in the smoky mountains. little bit bout the truck...i have an 06 gmc vortec max. im the second owner...bought it with only 11,000 miles on it. right now, the only mods i have been able to do are adding a cai and dual flowmaster super 40s. im a college student working on an extremely tight budget, so heavy mods and upgrades are hard to come by. next up are headers and a tune as soon as i get the scratch, which will sometime this summer....hopefully.... here are a few pics of my truck i have removed the running boards since these pictures have been taken...just havent gotten around to taking any more pictures yet
