  1. Well like I said I may still pick it up off of you. What kind of gain did you see with the cam? I will also still be running a stock stall for a while until I can get me a 3k stall. What kind of stall are you goin with?
  2. Ive actually seen ur vid before. LOL. Yea, it sounds good man. Im looking for a lil more lope really but keep me posted when you take it out and I may still take it off your hands. How many miles are on the cam?
  3. No im not bottoming out at all as I do have the Belltech stop mounted directly to the fram. Its just rubbing the wheel well. I did go back and check my wheels and I do the have the +14 offset. Looks like my only options are to put the stock shackle back on which will rasie the rear one inch or have the fender lip rolled. Right now Im trying to find someone locally who can roll the fenders cuz I dont have the money to get a different set of wheels.
  4. Mine is also doing this same exact thing. I put a fuel gauge on it and it was reading in the 40s and I was told it should be in the 60s. Turns out tha its my fuel pump gtting week so I ordered a Walbro fuel pump kit from Magnacharger. Ill be installing it next week.
  5. Looks like a fun time. Id like to do a meet in my area but Ive only met one of the SSS owners here.
  6. What cam is it and has anythingg been done to your heads?. Also mileage.
  7. Well I wont be doing this whole setup right now. I will be getting certain pieces at a time as money will allow then when I get everything then it will be installed. I was thinking of getting a Radix myself if I can find one at a good price and I have seen some, but I prob wont have the money for that til next tax return.
  8. glad weree back online and running

  9. With the help of Zippys suggestions here is what Im going to start piecing together to build the top end of my truck. Let me know what you think comments or suggestions. I plan on being NA for a while but then later on putting a SC on it. It is my daily driver after all so here goes. -xtra set of 317's for PnP -LS2 timing set -LS7 rollers -45lb injectors -3k stall -shift kit and cervo, until i can save enough money to do a 4l80 swap giving this trans holds up long enough, lol Im not sure on which shift kit and cervo to go with so please shoot off suggestions here -Patriot dual gold springs -TBSS intake -LEP blower cam 224/230 .612/.612 116 LSA Zippy suggested this cam for my setup and it sounds pretty good to me -ARP head bolts Now I do need to know what size of pushrods to get. Iknow I want chromoly rods as for the type but I dont know what length Ill need. Im also thinking about doing a different rocker set. I was thinking of using LS7 rockers but wasnt sure if theyd work for this setup. So help me out ith rocker choices also. I think that pretty much covers my build setup except for a GM gasket set and fluids. Well let me know what you guys think. Thanx in advance.
  10. What if I take the stock bumpstops and just cut them down to where they are about a half inch off the axel. Would that still hit hard if the stops hit? Im sure it would cushion it enough to keep the fenders off the tire. Im also gonna remove the spare tire so that will take off a lil bit of weight in the back. From the average info above it seems Im about the right ride heigth on the drop. Im trying to figure out a way to get the rear drivers side to come up a half inch to match the other side. Im thinking the tank brings it down a tad but should be a half inch different. Maybe somethin is worn or set different. If I can get that side up I think my issure will be fine. Any thoughts Tony?
  11. I kind of dropped the thing when people started complaining about prcing after I went to the leg work of hooking us up. Besides I got a set of Dough Throley headers. Im sure they will still do the group by if someone else wants to pick it up and contact them and mention there was a previous inquerry on about this.
  12. Well I had the chance to measure this afternoon and this is what I came up with. F- D and P side 33" R-D 32 1/4 , P 32 3/4 I figure the drivers side is a tad lowr do to the fuel tank or something. Illl take down the fron about a half inch this week and modify th bumpstops. Im thinking that may relieve a bit in the back so it wont rub the fenders as bad.
  13. That CTS sound badass. I want one. LOL
  14. Looks good man. What drop you got on it?
  15. Looks like Im going to buy another set of 317's. The set I found have been milled .004 over stock so I was wondering if that will bump compression much cuz like I said i plan on doing a SC later on down the road and I dont want to go back and switch heads again. I also am gonna pick up a set of LS7 lifters with 300 miles on them and a LS2 timing chaing with 300 miles on it. Both for 175 shippd whih I thought to be a good deal.
  16. Hell I think Im gonna order one of these for myself. They look really simple to put on and it says no drilling required. Seems like a really cool product.
  17. OMG I cant believe how many times Ive spelled "height" wrong in this post. Moron is me, lol.
  18. Thanx for going to the length of doing that for me bro. I apprecaite that. The front is done with 2in spindles and my rear is down with shackles and hangers. Ill measure tom. so see how mine matches to the measurements u posted. Im not sure of the wheels offset off hand. I just know the size of the rim and tires. I can literally get 2 fingers in the rear wheel wheels between the tires and the front I can get 3 so the front is hight just by about a half to 3/4 in. I will adjust tha tsoon with the Tbars. I also have to cut the lower rib off the front bump stops which I forgot to do.
  19. my wheels are 22 x 9.5 and the tiress are the Nitto 420's which are 285/40/22 I was just asking if people with a 2/3 drop and 22' wheels could measure the fender heigth from the ground to get an aveerage Ideal of what it should be. So that way I know that my truck is a n actual 2/3 drop and not a 2/4 or 2/5 like most think that it is right now. I know the leavf springs settled a bit after the installation where the weight had been taken off them during install. So I know that accunts for a bit of it. I think when I measured last the rear sat at 31 something.
  20. I saw the thread earlier last week but didnt see where he was selling Corsa tips. Well I pmd him to see about it though.
  21. Im posting this cuz I had the problem and posted about it and a few others said they had the same problem and told me what to do . The problem here is that the tailgate may not latch properly and will fall down as it did on me many times. Noone wants their taigate to fall down on a vehicle who is up too close to the truck. I call it the "Do Not Open" problem cuz you dont want to open your gate after you actually get it latched good cuz it may fall down on you at any given moment. A person would have to be an idiot to be that close but Ive seen it happen to people none the less, lol. I thought something was wrong with the mechanism inside the gat but all it need was a little love. 1. I recommend dropping the gate for this at first because there are washers on the inside of the gate that can fall down in it if you take the bolts out all the way. 2. Loosen the 3 bolts on the inner gate (do not take them all the way out). Just enought so the handle will be loose and you have a lil room. 3. Take some lithium grease and spray up in behind the handle then work the handle a lil bit so it moves nice and freely. Repeat at least one more time. 4. Position the handle back in place and tighten the bolts. 5. I did this but u dont have to. Also spray some lithium grese on the outer latches as well. Now your gate should lock properly and the handle should "pop" when you take the gate down. I know this is a little cheesey write up for this but it gets to the point in case anyone asks how to fix the problem like I Did.
  22. Well a noise like that is a good indication that you may need new pads cuz most pads have "squeekers" on them. They are the lil metal things you see at either end of the pad and they start rubbing as the pads wear down. Also most performance pads Ive came acrossed such as Hawks and Powerstop squeek some also because of the compound they are made out of. As for your ABS light coming on and gonig off you may just need a new sensor for that. I had one go bad on my s10 Xtreme but totaled it before I got it replaced.
  23. I was wonder if those of you with a 2/3 drop and 22" wheels would give me your rear fender heigth. As Ive mentioned my rear tires rub with my 2/3 kit and 22" wheels. I talked to Tony "Norcal" and from what Ive told him he says everything is setup right on my install and I dont doubt him in the least. He definately knows his stuff. Also please note if you have a full tank or not when you mesure as that will make it squat a 1/4 or so. Im just trying to figure this out because most people on here and people around me locally seem to think I have a 4 to 5in. drop in the back. I forgot to measure before the drop so im not sure how far it actually did drop. I appreciate you guys helping me out in advance. Thanx, Chris.
