  1. One of the reasons that you are always running rich is that your open loop comanded AFR is set low. Even at cruising speed low load scenarios you are commanding more fuel than stoich. This is another reason why you are not going into closed loop as the PCM will only comand closed loop when the commanded AFR is 14.68

  2. Got my cluster back today from Steve the gaugeguy, he replaced all 7 stepper motors and did blue L.E.D conversion. The blue looks sick!!

  3. Maf is connected and on the vehicle o2's are connected and on the vehicle. Engine trans harness and pcm are all from the same vehicle- 2002 tahoe 5.3 4l60. I sent my pcm to arville to falsh it for the ls6 intake swap i have never had my car at his shop. I own efi live. I am new to using efi live but im sure im not using a custom os. im waiting on my catback so i can get my wideband and all my exhaust work done at once.

  4. Just curious why you are set on the LS7 cam...?

     

     

    I dont know a whole lot about cams but i figured an ls7 cam would have some more lift then say an ls6 cam and i can get either real cheap. I'm not that good at tuning my own engine and theres no dyno within a 120miles so i thought itd be easier to tune beings it was a factory cam.

Im running a 02 5.3 wit ls6 intake in my 92 camaro and my efi live is always reading 0 on my ltft, and is also staying in open loop. runs real boggy and rich, i was told to check the wiring on my o2's does anyone have any experience with this, i did the harness swap myself but i didnt mess with the o2 wiring.

  6. Does anyone have experience with running a gm ls7 cam in say an 02 5.3? Is this combo possible would i have to upgrade all of my lifters, pushrods, etc? Also im just a beginner with efi live, if the cam swap is reasonable could i tune it myself? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

  7. I can't believe this thing is still around ... I just got one from beer and I was a lil worried that it was made from fiber glass but meet me tell you this are great quality and the fiber glass is thick and extremely rigid.

     

     

    maybe i need to up the price and someone will buy it....

  8. soooo did you actually test fit it or just decided to sand on it and spray it how it was rolling the dice hoping it would fit?

     

     

    i wanted to prime it first so if i need to make any changes glaze or anything i put on to smooth it further will have some good primer to bite into. im very picky on everything i paint.

  9. thanks magic wheels for your post im gonna go look at it on wednesday. nah i dont need the water pump the hood will come in a package deal i may need numerous brackets havent seen the front clip yet i dont know if its just in parts i may need the brackets. i do need an airbox and ducts + fan and fan clutch if you can give me a quote on that it would be nice. also i do need the large power steering bracket

     

     

    Ihave a fan fan clutch and power steering bracket if interested would take $50 plus shipping
