  1. For sale is a 5.3 truck intake off an 02 tahoe under 50k miles. has flex fuel injectors. all injectors were tested with my modis scanner and each were within +/- 2psi of each other. No throttle body. asking $100 obo plus shipping. thanks

  2. For sale is a complete belt system off an 02 tahoe 5.3, 43k miles. includes power steering pump, water pump, alternator, a/c compressor and all brackets and crankshaft pulley. I do not have all bolts and does not include thermostat, will send pics if interested. $150 obo plus shipping for everything will send pics if interested.

  3. Selling my factory manifolds and cat pipes off my 03 ss had 60k on them. Everything is in great condition would like to $75 plus shipping. I dont know if anyone is interested in these items but thought i would ask. will send pics if interested trying to get the garage cleaned out.

  4. I am selling some digital design subwoofers i recently purchased. They are brand new in box never been connected or used. A list of what i have is as follows:

    (2) digital designs part # 1508 subwoofers, 8 inch sub $250 each

    (1) digital designs part # 1510 subwoofer, 10 inch sub $270

    (1) digital designs part # 1012 subwoofer, 12 inch sub $185

    (2) digital designs part # 1512 subwoofer, 12 in sub $280 each

    (1) digital designs part # c3b amplifier $375

    (1) digital designs part # c2b amplifier $225

     

    A friend and I decided to buy the above stereo equipment and I made the initial payment on everything and then my friend backed out and I am now stuck with product. I am selling what I purchased because of lack of funds on my project. As i stated earlier everything is new in box. Each speaker is hand made here in the USA. I will be posting pics and i will be excepting offers, just really need to get my money back from what my friend said he would pay for. Just youtube some digital designs subs and they are exceptional! let me know if your interested. thanks

  6. I would do the following:

    Shift kit

    Converter (circle D has a nice piece that is not too expensive for a single disc) stall speed?? 3000 if you only might go turbo, 3600 if you WILL go turbo. But the higher stall also sets you up if you wanted to run a Procharger.

     

    Those mods will be in the same $$ as a cam swap. if you are happy with the direction then hit stage II the cam swap.

     

    These trucks can feel completly different with trans work, a converter, and a good tune.

     

     

    what shift kit do you prefer? how driver friendly would the 3k stall be?

  7. the Gen Iv heads will fit on the 6.0l

    depending on your year you will need to pick a route for the fuel lines, either mod the geniv lines to a return style or if you are newer you might already have the returnless set-up.

     

    the MAP will need to get lengthened, I had to unwrap part of the harness and take the two map wires out so they would reach and then re-tape them up. no cutting, dont like to make any wiring issues.

     

    I have little info on the actual car intake on a truck acessory drive

     

    I saw all of the intakes dyno'd on a online mag (looking) and it said the truck was better for TQ and very close to the gians of running a FAST LSXR intake.

     

    If you boost later, then your cam selection will be important along with your converter. Are you doing trans mods too??

     

     

     

    I really need to do transmission work on my truck. i was wanting to keep the transmission that is in it but i don't know where to start on it. i'm wanting to start with a 6L block and go with LS3 head and intake and 408 or 427 stroker assembly

  8. Has anyone swapped for an LS3 heads and intake setup on their 6.0L? I'm really interested in doing this upgrade and was wondering what all would have to be changed for instance wiring and fuel delivery and what kind of gains. From what I have heard its a worthy upgrade to consider especially if you plan to boost later on.

  9. To swap in a 4L80E or one of its variants, the transmission crossmember must be cut, and moved back, then welded back together, or in 4WD/AWD trucks, an extentsion can be welded onto the cross member. You then also need to turn down the 4L80E output shaft (horrible idea as they will break) or you can buy a new input gear for the NVG-149 that will fit the 4L80E output shaft.
