Im actually curious on what shadowsniper asked about the flex fuel. Its not available here but still be interesting to know.

Ill lett my buddy read it and well see where he goes from there but the last I heard from him friday they were going to order some pistons off ebay with a 8.9 cr use the same rods and crank, but just hone out the cylinders. Turn the boost down two pounds and drive it that way. He got a description saying the piistons were good to only 400 hp and low boost with the wiseco so he's telling everyone he's got over 400 hp now. Thanks again though I've got information now from first hand experience and for you guys with the knowledge on it.

He's been telling me there's nothing wrong tuning wise when its back firing and its loaded up with fuel in the bottom that it just smokes and in the top its leaner than hell. Also he went out to the local engine shop. The guy there used to work at brodix but he told him it was over boosting and detonating looked at the ring lands....I just wanted some opinions to get a better understanding of the cause.

Hey guys, I'm not very active on here but read through quite a bit of post. Anyways these came out of my buddies 2.2 ecotec fiero..... he blew a rod through one motor so nows he eagle h beam rods and wiseco 8.5 pistons in it with a t3/t4 hybrid turbo pushing 17 pounds and 44 pound injectors. But he's been tuning through hptuners and doesn't listen to anyone on the advice he gets. Anyways this is the recent results. Anny idea whats the cause of it? I think it was poor tuning.

In my honest opinion, I wouldnt trade just cause of the ss being a booted vehicle. You wont gain as much at a dealership if you were to trade it in as a last resort.

I bought this converter in january and it was awesome, transmission went out again a couple weeks ago. Sent chris the converter and he checked it out cause the transmission shop couldn't find anything in the tranny so they thought torque converter. Needless to say chris checked it out its fine within a weekend of having itt. I give a thuumbs up on circled.

To give you a heads up I order dynatechs a couple months ago and I just put them on..... driver side is real tight. Passenger side caught the frame, cab, and starter....needless to say I ended up cutting two primaries and moving them to differentt locations..... it been easier for me to buy a flange and pipe and make my own longtubes.

Well it lasted a week...I lost 2nd and 4th and 3rd is slipping....Could one you help me out with a parts list of what i need to build this tranny?

Okay. Guys pulled the valve body down and the servos out. The culprit to my transmission. Premature wear of the 4th gear band. We shimmed the servos 1/100 and I now have 4th and no more fluctuations. But I will be in the future of rebuilding the 4l70 in the future so for help out what would you guys recommend to beef up this transmission

Its at various speeds....alright guys I appreciate the suggestions. Ill be dropping the pan next week and see whereitss at and what im in store for. Ill keep you guys posted.

the transmissio. Has been going for 20( miles and not given a lick of problems. Engines in good working running condition. Thanks for the suggestions. It keeps going it hasn't really gone into the complete neutral feeling. Its as I've said really just the convertor locking and unlocking. Fluid still looks like I poored it out of the bottle and it doesn't have any flakes in it.

its doing that, but it foesnt get stuck in gear.
