will the grill work with the 2001, because if you look around the head lights on the front fender its more rounded. i thought if you wanted to build the clone had to be a 2003 at the earliest. i have been wanting to do the same thing. just hard to find a 2003 short bed reg cab. with a v8 and not 4x4

i am trying to figure out if i can pull the stock bumper off a reg silverado and leave the stock bumper bar there and use it to mount the ss front bumper cover.. i looked up on gmparts.com and they only have one bumper bar which makes me think that they share the same bar. anyone done this before? Thanks

i am wanting over a years worth of working it to build me up a clone but reg cab short bed, i am trying to see if i want to put a Lq9 or a Lq4, if i go witht he Lq4 i was going to do a piston swap and put flat tops in. just trying to see what would be the best option. any help would be awesome. that is crazy! i was just thinking of selling the SS and buying a 2002 reg cab reg bed.(hope for blown motor) find a 6.0 and go to town on it. get cladding and bumper badges. and wrap it vinyl wrapping it black.

just wandering does it bother anyone else when you see a SS going do the road with a lader rack on it and spiled pain on the bed. or one with a camper shell with straches all over the truck with a constuction sticker on the side? bothers the crap out of me!

its hard to do any more mods than i have.... its my DD and if the job takes longer than a weekend its not good have to find a ride to work.

i know its not my ss but the denali xl has a check engine light (same engine 6.0) and its reading something about fuel pressure regulating. have changed gas cap and senors. dont know if it might be a filter issure or not. any help would be awesome guys thanks
