If it was mine and it had dex cool in it, I would flush it out and put the regular green antifreeze back in. I have seen alot of parts and motor tore down because of the DexCrap. Corrosion out the @ss, looks like fertizer that had gotten wet. The only way to do a real good flush is to run it on a flushing machine and use like a BG product to run through it to clean it up good. I had mine and my wifes flushed out because they had Dex cool in it. JMO
i thought dexcool was used to keep from having corrosion?

welcome to the site. there are some great people on here that can tune the hell out of your truck. i have mine tuned by wheatley and i love it. blackbear and zippy are a couple others that i know of on here

i would just like to see more stuff like that. im not specificly picking anyone out. i just think if there was more threads of interior stuff, etc. that it would be more fun. im with everyone to make this site better and more fun. the reason im on this site is to find out new things to do to my truck

Chris, you do some of the coolest interior stuff i have heard about. I'd like to know half of what you have forgoten about interior work. But i don't see any threads of the cool stuff you do, guys say you did some work for them, but what about thread showing us what you did, in process pics, and how you did it. Thats the kind of thread that can start to get guys interested and learning new things.

im using one from walmart and ive had no problems with it. only cost a dollar and looks almost the same minus the bowtie

i would take it off and see if it makes a difference. doesnt it just stick on with two sided tape? if you get wind noise just put it back on.

there is so many things i would love to do but my wife wont let me do. lol. but ill probably start by getting my lt headers installed in january. i would also like to get a torque converter and do some tranny upgrades. im also going to get a new system since i sold the other one for a tune and some headers. theres no telling what else ill think of
