Good to hear that you got it figured out.
You have added to the data base as far as symptoms of a bad proportioning valve goes.

Check these out for your application. Best luck with your repair.

Tony is the man for wheels and suspension.
Lots of guys have gone with 22" TBSS replicas. They look good on the SS trucks.

Good to see you back here, Bud. Not many familiar faces round here any more.

Which side is the good duct for? Which sides are the other two for? I've had some luck fixing tabs with epoxy.

He was a hero to me. Sure could drive a race car.

Good luck with your sale. It doesn't make a lot of sense for me to keep mine either, but I don't have any reason good enough to sell right now.

Happy New Year to you too. Hope it's a good-un.

That's a rare one. Better jump on it quick.
I guess ya never know. Someone will probably believe it legit.

CRAP!! Looks like a cross between a ford and a toyota. I always hate new body styles for 3 or 4 years.

Sounds like a sweet truck project. Keep us posted on progress.

What a team and what a year. Kinda ridiculous that with his win record and point standing he could have lost the championship on this last race. I can't figure NASCARs reasoning out.
-
Great to see you back here Brother. Good luck with your sale and your new project.

Thank you for the welcomes! The roads are bad and in Ohio they completely cover the roads in salt all winter. I'm strategizing now on how I'm going to keep my truck from rusting.
Cheap daily driver. Garage the SSS.

The Texas plan is dropping the safety portion of the inspection but we will continue to have emissions testing in the counties that are already doing it (16 currently.)
Honestly while on one hand the yearly safety inspection has been a bit of a joke, I think it caught at least a few very poorly maintained vehicles and required them to be fixed.
Commercial vehicles will still have a safety inspection.
Richard
Even the guys who "inspect your registration" around here will fail stuff that the police will notice and question so yah, it does help keep junk at least marginally safe.
I don't completely condemn the shops that aren't looking real closely at vehicles. For years they were allowed to charge just $11.00 for an inspection that would take them at least an hour to do, by the book.

So glad Texas is doing away with state inspections starting 01-01-18.
My county here in NC is doing away with the emission part of our inspection. The mechanical end of our inspection test is mostly a revenue generator for the inspection shop and there are plenty of places where you can get you registration inspected, which means that there is plenty of junk running the roads.
