Haha this is too funny! Now we just have to get you behind the wheel of one of our SSS........... When I was shopping for a new truck I was looking at all 3 American brands (used to be a Ford guy. Ive owned 4 fords and 1 Mercedes prior to my SSS) and I test drove all sorts of Rams and F150s and Silverados but as soon as I test drove a red 03 SSS at Carmax I stopped looking for everything else! These are truly the best trucks on the road, they handle like a sports car and go fast as hell! Anyways, I bet that if you get behind the wheel of one you will be sold......... Let me know if you end up in the DC area sometime and you can drive mine lol although I would be willing to bet that one of the Jersey guys will let you drive theirs

Funny you should start this post, I meant to do it about 2 weeks ago. I dont like the one I have right now so its gotta go. I tried to get stg313 but it was taken. So now im moving on to funny stuff. May end up stealing an idea out of this post. But Im from Virgina so I can get 7 letters!

I have no idea what could make that happen but I thought that I would add that my rear pads also wear faster than my fronts.

just an idea- have a place that does embroidery stitch something up for you with the same color thread then test a few different shades of blue and silver on it. That way you can see if blue shows up well. And if you do perform that test, make sure to take a picture of the sample for everyone to see along with the brand/shade of each paint color. Just another thought, could be wrong but worth a thought: are the subs putting to big a strain on the amp, therefore causing the amp to draw too much power from the battery? If all else fails, trying hooking up a more powerful amp. If you have type E subs it's prob not the case but type S or R subs can handle way more than the type E will. Also before you try that make sure your amp is bridged. Also confirm that the subs aren't already bridged in the box because that could make them operate at the wrong ohm.

Try running all the other wires seperate from the power. Aka run your power wire down the drivers side and the remote&RCAs down the passenger side. Cheap/ improperly insulated/ old wire can bleed a signal through it's casing. Let me know if this works, as it is something I have heard of but never experienced firsthand. If that doesn't work I would suggest trying a capacitor or maybe even a new battery that is more capable of holding a charge. Hope this helps!

Sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity to me, I'm in! 2 hrs away isn't bad. We should try to have all the SSS meet somewhere beforehand so we can all be together and get to know each other a bit too! It would be badass to see a line of 30 SSS in a row.......

Ha this is a great thread, got some good laughs. I've never been arrested but cuffed and shoved in the back of a car. Turns out that having a black guy in the back seat of your mountaineer is quite suspicious- even right outside DC where I am practically a minority! My high school was 13% white. Talk about profiling.

Funny you should say that, I was going to say that I really liked the SS painted on the bed! I think it could have been incorporated better but the concept is good. To each his own I suppose.

Yeah man congratulations! And I just want to say that I find it odd that there are intimidator badges on it when its not an intimidator........ Most people seem to take those badges off, not add them. Still a sweet ride though, great find with 17k miles!

Those are my favorite rims on any truck, hands down. I have wanted those in a 24 for my truck since the first time I ever saw them. The thing is though, I already have 24s for my truck and I cant justify changing hah

Question- I created this thread, so is it possible to somehow add one of those Polls to it? It would be sweet if there was a poll attached to the top asking what beach each person thinks we should meet at. Then we can just go to the beach with the most votes.

This is the first car i have ever owned with tint and I can never go back. I hate just riding in my friends cars if they are not tinted. I have 20% all the way around overtop of stock and I really wish it was darker! My only advice is to be extremely careful taking the tint of your back window and avoid it if possible. It is possible to ruin the heating mechanism in the window. It happend to my roomates Subaru and now it doesnt defrost for sh*t. As for the cops- when you get pulled over put your windows down and be polite. If he mentions your tint then tell him it came that way when you bought it and you didnt realize anything was wrong with it. I just point out that there are cars everywhere with dark tint. You can also say you have sensitive eyes lol then hope for the best!

I was planning to move back home that weekend but I suppose I could push that up in order to attend........ We should all try to stay in the same place, wether that be a hotel or whatever. I think it would be better if we could all get a house or condo or something together.
