  1. since then ive checked all grounds... i compared them to a stock SSS and have all grounds and they r good... battery to frame battery to block head to firewall 2x in the main harness to back of block all the grounds where tested and at the battery and r good ive checked for a bad wire from cam and crank sensors to the pcm and both checked out good... i have 12v power at 2 of the 4 wires on the each coil pack... i have fuel... fuel pressure is good and injectors are fireing...im wondering if the coils are getting the signal from the pcm.... i have not done the relearn process yet... i was under the impression that the truck will still start even with out this being done...
  2. Cliff note version: Installed my new 410ci and now it wont start... I have power at the coils, my cam and crank sensor r pugged in, all grounds are connected and checked for connectivity and it still wont start any ideas... would it be related to the pcm and why would it be???? I know someone has had this problem before... give me some ideas i dont care how stuipd...

  6. and here i am changing mine @ 2500... I feel so stupid... all that $ i could be saving... im going to get 1 and change my oil every 12,600... that means ill only us it twice a year so ill put it up for everyone to use and if i like u ill let u use the cheap digital tire pressure gauge b/c we all know its better than an analog one.
  7. like i said its in the tune and exhaust... u might need a tune just to pass then go back to ur everyday after ur done...
  8. Will a Modified 4L60e crossmember out of a 2wd truck be the same and work in my AWD??? Im looking at getting everything for my 60-80 convertion from FORDSARESLOW... let me know what u think....
  9. maybe im wrong but it doesnt matter what size motor u have in a vehicle passing emissions is all about the tune and exhaust system...
  10. DAMN u got alot of time and $ in ur truck... Ive never seen an SS F150 clone... not my style but to each his own... i cant believe u let the girl park in the garage under ur truck again!!! ull learn all those little scatchs add up....
  11. I have checked fuel and the injectors are fireing with no problem... My problem is with the coils... even thou i have power at the main coil harness the plugs are NOT firing... I pulled #1 wire put a new plug in it and grounded it out on the alt bracket and i got nothing...

  14. ok so I've checked and I have power to the coils. In order for me to still not have spark it must be a ground issue.. right???? what are and where are all the ground wire that need to be connected.
  15. coils are pluged in... ground strap from firewall driver side to head is good... the only ground on the block I have is the 4 gauge ground from the battery to the block driver side... is there another ground on the block that I'm missing
  16. I just checked my hood and ur right one does go to the head and one to the hood. where does the ground wire that is connected to the main harness go to ?
  17. the head I remember but y the hood we don't have a light or anything.
  18. I just got my new motor installed but it won't start. I have fuel but no spark. Cam and knock sensors are both pluged in. Where should I start. On a side note can anyone tell me where the two ground straps next to the brake booster go? I wonder if that could be part of my problem. Thanks guys
