  1. Yeah, some people didn't get it, lol. I did forget to put it in 4 for one run and thought I broke something. Light turned green and I stomped on it, let off thinking I broke something...again...hit it again to make sure.....realized I was a meat head and forgot to put it in 4, then put it in 4 and ran a high 18 at 108mph, lol. The first two times I hit it in 2wd apparrently put on a bit of a show. The first time it left about a 75ft strip and the second one was about a 50ft'r, lol. It took a while getting that crap off of my white fender Luckily it was before the stands had many people and was only an idiot in front of my friends. It was the only time I forgot though, lol. The rest I did always go around the wet box and waited while some people wondered why.
  2. It's ok, there are others on here with largers issues I'm sure
  3. You wouldn't be the first, lol. But I do appreciate that
  4. Oddly enough, I kinda do. I'll start by defending myself first before I explain, lol. First, I don't like it. Second, it's for my fiancée to drive. Third, she refused to get anything from the Chev dealer as she worked there for years and hated the owner and didn't want to give him our business. Forth, it's at least the Ford in a dress, it's an 08 Lincoln Mark LT. Did I mention I didn't like it yet, lol. Lastly, I got it at a stupid low price off the lot due to a huge mistake. I'll end this confession with, I love Chevy!!!! While I'm at it I also have a Golf GTi VR6 and a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10.
  5. Awesome truck man!!!!!!!!!!!! I also ran into intercooler problems as my original ATI was the P1SC not the D1SC that's in it. The problem was that my AIT hit 270 and nuked my 370. That's when I did the 408. That being said, I did an A-W intercooler good for 1200hp instead of the Procharger A-A and had awesome luck. I got mine off of frozenboost.com and also did an ice box in the box of the truck. Just a place to check out I guess because I got the entire set-up very cheap and it works like a charm. It was a lot cheaper than from ATI, a lot!!! Just a suggestion Sweet build man!!!!
  6. Nah, it's all good. Can't let one drag down all.
  7. Thanks guys!! Yeah, I like the truck's name too, I just don't like how it got named. Truth be told, my friends named it because everytime we turned around something else was blowing up on it, hence the name time bomb(TYMBOM). To bad some people don't get it and ask what's with "Tim Bom", lol.
  8. Funny you should says Ford Escort. I actually had bought a 96 Escort for $1000 just as a beater for what I thought would be a month. I ended up driving that stupid thing for a fricken year!!!!! As things on my my truck weren't going as planned and delays on parts went on, the time kept climbing. I decided to flip that and needed something else for a back up as our Mark LT is for my fiancée to drive, so I picked up a Golf GTi VR6. So when you are down about your tire and headlight, just remember it's a lot easier and cheaper than buying additional vehicles while your Chevy was down, lol.
  9. Thanks! I'm not sure of the size. It opens the same as factory, tilts or opens some or all the way and anywhere in between. I have nothing but good things to say about it except for no shade
  10. Yeah, that is a friend of mine. A few weeks after this was shot he got into the 9's!!!!!!!!!!!! He has since installed a chute, lol.
  11. A few people asked for videos. I had posted in my intro but this is the proper place for them anyway. 1st Run. 2nd run. The second one takes a while because the Aritso driver takes forever to stage.
  12. Sweet. All the cool tuner cops will get it, the others may think you mean something else though, lol. Cool plate.
  13. He has a point and agree. That is basically how my build started. Good luck.
  14. Yeah, that seems like a quick and logical solution, lol. Do you have any idea what brand yours is?
  15. Sorry about the pic size. I had a friend take them for me, he emailed them to and I don't have a clue how to re-size them. Once I get it figured out I'd add new ones.
  16. Sweet!! That green Camaro looks awesome!!
  17. For your steering wheel controls and the brake mod, you should look into the PAC modules. That is what we used all the time. Their site is www.pac-audio.com Good luck.
  18. Thanks It was a few years ago now but I believe it was approx. $1500 installed. I'm happy with it, no wind noise or leaks. The only down fall that I over looked was that it is a single cab and therefore no room for a shade. A really sunny days it can be a pain. I am just going to get it limo tinted I think. It is also usefull for trying to peak at the opposite traffic light without being too obvious about it, lol.
  19. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Who the hell are you?
  20. For the record, I definatley was saying that Lightings, even when stock, are very sweet. I love their seats too. Way more support and a better feel than mine Love the truck, too bad I already have one huge waste of money.
  21. Thanks for the comments everyone.
  22. Thanks Greg, luckily your name warned me that you're angry ;) lol.
  23. Thanks man. The sunroof was cheaper than I thought. The shop did a good job, no leaks or what not.
