Thanks everyone. This is the first year in quite a few that I've actually had it in the Spring and it wasn't broken in some form. I don't post a lot as I'm not a real "SS", lol. If you are interested here is a vid of some runs if you haven't seen it yet. Exact same as I run it on the street

Dozer pretty much nailed it. It is in fact a GTO bracket. It was more time than money, making it all fit together. I do enjoy a three minute belt swap though ;) I guess you can say it's pretty much priceless, lol.

It is a fully built 408 stroker.

I'm running a 3.1 on my D1SC and it peaks at 18lbs.

How much power are you making? I had to switch my setup because of belts slipping and breaking. After calling ATI they told me that anything over 600 engine hp should have a different belt setup. That is how I ended up with my dual belt config. I have an eight rib just for my D1SC and stock 6 rib for everything else.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the SS would win, just that it'd be closer than I thought even. It is def a legit EVO that I was in but when I drove it I was so dissapointed because I really liked those cars. I read the stock EVO 1/4 times, all I'll say is that everything would have to be perfect for them to run that time stock. Pro driver, at sea level, etc, etc.

I think you guys would be surprised. Evo's have all the potential in the world, however, stock, they are super slow. A friend of mine just bought a brand new one and I was very dissapointed, so is he. He ditched his 11.6 RSX turbo because he wanted something with warranty, he has already voided his warranty because it was such a slug. Stock for stock, you would be surprised how close it could be. Always nice to beat a ricer at his own game, nice kill man.

Actually, I'm sure it would run fantasic with the air so dense, I just don't want all the salt on the roads on the paint and run the risk of some idiot sliding into me. I run my VW GTi in the winter. It starts all the time, not like our Lincoln Mark LT that only has 20,000km.

That is the same size rubber and drop as me if you want to see how it fits. A little rub with the wheel cranked all the way but other than that it's ok.

Thanks for your responses everyone. I may kick myself but I think I'm gonna hang tight for a while. I don't need to sell it but walk by it in the garage thinking about the pile of money I could have instead of the large paper weight I walk by for half the year. Thanks again for your insight.

Hey guys, I need some help. I have been toying with the idea of selling my truck. The issue is, I have no idea where to start with pricing if I do end up leaning towards the dark side. I have in the area of 100g into it, man that's sad, lol. I am not delusional and don't expect to get anywhere near what's put into it. What are your serious thoughts about what would be a fair starting price? I'm at a lose, please help!!!!
