  1. With the return style fuel system on my tahoe i was able to see 65psi at the rail. I dicked around for quite a while with maf tune and in my opinion speed density tunes are the way to go its the only way to correctly tackle partial throttle fueling like when you are giving it 40% throttle and then going up a hill with maf tune you will see the same fuel as if you were on flat land which is not right because you get into more boost with more load on the truck. Depending on how much boost your running i feel that the maf is restricitve also I noticed a major difference going from maf to speed density just my .02 good luck.

  2. ya i hear ya lol. im not sure. with all the reading ive been doing it seems that i will still be able to use the stock ones. but not totally for sure. some people say to change them and others say u dont have to. would u recommend it.

I would recommend it for sure stiffer springs and higher lift cam equals more stress on the lifters.

  3. yes you are exactly right. but i bought those springs and rods with the intention on just doing a cam swap. but like stated in the op im going with a heads/cam package from tsp and it comes with the rods of your choice and the heads come pre assembled with prc dual springs good to .650 lift. so those springs and rods pictured wont be used.

Ah cool beans then its just that theres lots of people that dont take the time to measure them. You planning on swapping lifters?

  4. Congrats on the parts man but isnt ordering pushrods and springs before heads like putting the carriage in front of the horse?? Theres a good chance that your gonna need different pushrods when its all said and done.

  5. nice pile of parts. looks like its al starting to come together. keep up the nice work. for some reason i thought this was all going in the hoe.

Thanks and im planning on either a 408 or 427 for the hoe just have to get this one out of the way first!

  6. I have a bunch of extra amps and figured might as well start the switch and get rid of the bose amp and add one of mine in. When amping all the door speakers do you need to run all new wiring or can you get away with tapping into the wires that were running off the bose amp? It seems logical but just not sure. I was always use to just running all new wire but this would make it a lot easier if its logical.

You can do either one it will work fine all though newer bigger wire will transfer power better and cleaner!

  7. Ok I got separate dash pieces- gauge bezel, passenger vents, overhead console, soon to have dash itself and passenger grab bar and interior side view mirror covers. Ok I want to smooth out the divits out cracks of whatever you call them (there pointed out in the pic below) I plan to scuff the inside really good and get it ruff then use a bodo that works with plastic to fill it in. then sand down all the pieces listed above so there nice and smooth and then use an adhesion promoter and then paint match them black and then clear them. What I'm wondering is, is this the right way to go about doing this our should I bodo and smooth all the pieces that way rather then sanding the original texture down? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. By the way the pic is of my work truck so that's why its dirty lol

You should sand down as much as possible and then you should spray the entire thing with a good high build primer when dry wet sand and then one more coat of high build wetsand again with 400 then spray your sealer good luck it takes alot of time i did alot of the pieces in my tahoe
