  1. Also Steve told me that there arent a EGR hookup for these headers. So did you get a cutoff or did you weld it up? Im placing my order with Steve tonight to get mine.

Sup man the y pipe is custom made and i just removed the egr and turned the codes off in my tune since i have a magnacharger on my truck alls i had to do was install a threaded plug where it used to install on a stock intake you just need to make a block off plate you could make it out of 3/16 or 1/4 inch plastic just cut it to size and aplly some silicone to it and bolt it on the egr is a waste of space any ways

  2. You will need a custom driveshaft with a bastard joint to connect to the 10 bolt,or change the yoke in the rear to go with a regular joint, but either way the stock 4x4 shaft won't work, even though the trucks look the same the 2500hd's have a different wheelbase ,,I am doing a 4l80 swap on mine now.Is yours awd or 2wd,since I am refering to the awd info,2wd might be different.since your asking about changing the yoke I assume you have a 10 bolt and not the 14 in the 2wd's

I have the 10 bolt in my truk yes and its 2wd i assumed that the 3/4 ton shaft wouldnt work but it has the right ends on it so i was gonna have it lengthened or shortened what ever it needed and i guess that im going to have to buy 1350 series yokes for my trans and rear end?

  3. Im about to do the 4l80e swap on my truck and was wondering do i have to change the yoke on my rear end and switch to the 3/4 ton drive shaft ive seen some people do that but was wondering if there is another option so i dont have to get another drive shaft and not having to buy a new yoke would be nice although i still have to buy one for my 4l80 any help would be appreciated thanks

  4. And it may just be normal. But it is VERY different from stock. Also interested to know what people are doing for max pad contact up from. I have approx 3/4" of rotor not being used and around 3/8" of pad hanging off. I am porobably 1/4 to 3/8" of gap between rotor and caliper bridge. I don't really want to grind the caliper and am not excited to slot the brackets either.

You have to slot the bracket there is no other option did mine wasnt that big of a deal

  5. I know a lot of folks have done the Vette caliper swap, but how many out there have done so that also have hydro-boost? I know everyone that has done the hydro-boost swap with stock calipers swear how much better their braking is due to the extra pressure and when I swapped to the Vette calipers with my stock vacuum booster, the peddle was so much better, so I wonder if the two combined present the problem? Maybe someone out there with hydro-boost and Vette calipers will speak up if there is anyone that has that combination.

I have the z06 brakes and hydroboost and pedal is stiff but a good stiff I dont have any issues with mine stops on a dime!
