  1. driving to school today i saw an 06 sss off of placentia just before nutwood. just wondering if you are on here. the truck looked stock, but it was clean.
  2. yeah it was getting annoying seeing that CEL everyday. thanks for the tip btw!
  3. i went to the dealer and they said it was p0141 and i bought a new o2 sensor. i go home to install it, and i check the o2 sensor lead and the wire was being chewed up by my front drive shaft. the wire was leaning on the driveshaft and it tore through the line and was causing the dtc to pop up. had them order a new lead and they are getting it tomorrow. thanks for the help anyways!
  4. i replaced the o2 sensor that needed to be replaced and had the code cleared but when i was driving home, the cel came back on. could it be possible that i have a plugged cat? my truck is chewing through gas faster than usual. could that be the problem or would my mpg be affected by the maf and air intake?
  5. yes they will fit. i would say go with a complete catback such as magnaflow or corsa instead of flowmasters
  6. go with a corsa sport. you wont sound like every other douche in your town. plus it sounds badass
  7. little scrawny bastard got what he deserved. well played

  11. i replaced the sensor on friday with a brand new one but the check engine light is till on. Do i have to get it cleared or will it turn off by on its own?

I did a search for the code my truck is throwing and so far from what i have read, is replacing the sensor my best bet? Or should i just get the code tuned out and not worry about it?
  13. how are you able to get them for such a cheap price? and whats the price on shipping to 91709?
  14. dude you're truck is SICK! if i didnt have mine i'd for sure put in an offer. good luck man
  15. i believe fan 1 is set to come on at 195 and the other to come on at 205. the harness definitely melted again but the fans do work perfectly fine This is getting to the point where i'm just gonna get my money back from blackbear and then sell the fans
  16. cool, thanks for the help guys but as far as the harness heating up, could it be the alternator or ? i really need clarification on that
  17. yeah man i have a stock 105 amp since my truck is an 2004. looks like i have to drop some more money on the truck . . . how much could i pick up a 145 amp for?
  18. I bought stock 05 efans not too long ago and bought a wiring harness for them from blackbear and the first harness i had, it burned up and the wires melted. Then i sent it back to blackbear and they fixed the harness and sent it back to me. This time, when I was getting my transmission service by a professional company that builds race cars, the harness started to heat up again, but they shut the truck off before the harness burned up and melted. i was also told by the shop's owner that the volts on the truck started to drop below 12v. So my question is what is causing the harness to heat up so high? Could it be my tune or possibly the fans themselves? I know it isnt the harness this time. Any input would be greatly appreciated
  19. screw that chinese stuff always go American!
