I did a search for the code my truck is throwing and so far from what i have read, is replacing the sensor my best bet? Or should i just get the code tuned out and not worry about it?

i believe fan 1 is set to come on at 195 and the other to come on at 205.
the harness definitely melted again but the fans do work perfectly fine
This is getting to the point where i'm just gonna get my money back from blackbear and then sell the fans

cool, thanks for the help guys
but as far as the harness heating up, could it be the alternator or ?
i really need clarification on that

yeah man i have a stock 105 amp since my truck is an 2004.
looks like i have to drop some more money on the truck . . .
how much could i pick up a 145 amp for?

I bought stock 05 efans not too long ago and bought a wiring harness for them from blackbear and the first harness i had, it burned up and the wires melted. Then i sent it back to blackbear and they fixed the harness and sent it back to me. This time, when I was getting my transmission service by a professional company that builds race cars, the harness started to heat up again, but they shut the truck off before the harness burned up and melted. i was also told by the shop's owner that the volts on the truck started to drop below 12v. So my question is what is causing the harness to heat up so high?
Could it be my tune or possibly the fans themselves? I know it isnt the harness this time.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

i'm 19 years old so i'm leaning toward the g8 gt right now because i can get a lot of power out of it and it has active fuel management so i wont be raped with my gas mileage

I got a bottle of the adam's car wash shampoo for christmas along with two of the jumbo wash pads, a few microfiber towels and also got the premium hand polish and wax kit. I washed my truck today and then dried it and she never looked so good after just one wash. it was an easy product to use with wash/dry and left no water spots. Now i just have to wait around until the spring when the rain stops and then i'm going to polish and wax it! cant wait to do that!
Adam's Polishes are the best thing for a car/truck! I got the best bang for my buck!
I definitely recommend it to those who have not yet used any of their products!
