i took a picture of the tread the day i got them . .
i could take another picture or two tomorrow morning if you would like. .

wondering where to find the best price on a set of 4 ss center caps for the stock chrome wheels. i found a set for $100 on ebay plus shipping.
can anyone help me out on finding a set for cheaper possibly?

if i was to cut out the stock grille, what should i use to not mess up the grille shell?
is it a hard process?
-
i have a 5 piece billet grille from t rex and the bottom three are in without the stock plastic pieces but on the front 2 by the bowtie, the stock pieces are stil there. anyway i can remove the stock ones and have the billet there by itself? it looks pretty gay with the plastic and billet laid on top of it. i'll have pictures up later on

Either route you go, it will be unique. I would say the 2500hd b/c of the 4L80e trans and Duramaxx engine. With the 4L80e and you wont have to worry about a trans problem (as their bulletproof) and you have loads of tq already. However purchasing an SS and lifting it up is bada$ in my opinion. You just have to beef up the 4L65e if your going to be towing and add some more power if you wish. You could add the 4L80 to the SS, but thats $ (I was quoted 2-3 grand for the Allison but it did not include certain parts needed to adapt to the SS).
If you were to get the duramaxx engine I would do the 2500hd conversion to the SS.
the duramax comes with the allison transmission . .

there are so many mods to do!
once you get the modding bug, the mods never end.
exhaust, cai of course. tune, stall converter, cam. the list goes on. . .

i didnt literally ram this guy off the road, although that would have been pretty cool
a few days ago i was driving home and was at a stoplight when this rsx pulls up. the light turned green as soon as he was about to stop then he revved his engine, so i hammered it and so did he. i ended up pulling on him pretty fast by about the length of a truck. i had to back down because i was turning at the next light to go home.
needless to say, the sss made his rsx sound like a girly man car.
anyways, thats my story

welcome!
and here is the kelley blue book on it. . .
it sounds a bit steep to me, but the sss is a great investment. i've had just about no huge problems with my 04 and i love it to death.
get awd, you wont be disappointed

a stall converter with a shift kit and servos would be a sweet thing to get. it wont destroy your wallet either. i was going to do that, but i'm gonna get a magnacharger here soon instead.

i bought a flowmonster 18 " di/do and waiting to get it to install that bad boy
i'll post up a vid when i do of before and after

i ended up going to a dealership and they put a whole new mirror on, the actual piece that holds the mirror there and connects to the truck. worked fine after that

saw a red sss lowered in chino hills on wednesday of this week.

saw it parked at cal state fullerton also

my buddy is looking into getting a supercharger on his 04 AWD SSS, what other things should he do besides a shift kit and obviously a tune?
right now he has shorty headers, k&n cai and a flowmaster on the stock exhaust pipes but he is looking into getting a corsa soon.
he and i have the same setup right now, but i may look into this also
-
are you firm on the price?
-
well i found this corsa sport
http://www.lmperformance.com/7204/27.html
i was wondering if i could find it for cheaper or is this the best deal out there on a corsa
i have a flowmaster right now, but i want to get rid of it
or would it be cheaper to have a custom exhaust built from midpipes without cats all the way to the tips and for this i'd get a flowmonster.
any comments are much appreciated
-
ok nevermind, i lied i dont want that anymore
-
how much would all of that cost?
-
no, do i need them?
