I've read on some other boards about people's hour meters randomly resetting. Not sure if they ever pinned down the cause.

It's on the side of the fuel rail. IIRC it just has a retaining clip and then it pops off. You can look at it without really taking anything off except the the engine covers.

Where did it say that he traded the car and paid money for the ZR1? Seems like the dealership lined up the sale for him, so that he would buy the ZR1. I'm sure they got a sizable cut, but not the whole amount.

How much do you think the whole thing weighs? Shipping might be killer.

You will need AWD front and rear driveshafts. They are different lengths than the 4x4 ones. How do you plan on mounting the front diff in the 2wd truck. I haven't really looked at the NNBS trucks yet to see what the differences are.

How many miles on them?

I would love to see a truck with this done in person before I commit to it on mine. Looks nice in the pics.

I worked part time at a body shop while I was in school. The owner would turn down any job that had Geico insurance. What is the problem with the McGaughy's spindles and rear hangers and shackles. Everyone on the Denali board seems to love them.

I don't know when they started the stupid little dots at the top of the windshield 04 I think. Tell them your truck is a 2002. The windshield without those dots with normal gradient tint is like $20-40 cheaper and looks better IMHO. Gotta replace the one in our Tahoe soon. Had a little chip above the mirror and the cold snap a couple of days ago split it all the way across at the very top.

What clamps are you going to use? Have a link?

They have the paint in a brush on app or spray on. The brush on might be easier with them on the truck still. Luckily I did mine while I was upgrading to the 05 fronts and stainless lines, so I went ahead and painted them off.

Take the transmission out and then flip it over on your bench. Pan comes off easy then. ;)

Please post up all you find while in there. I have a groan at about 20mph. Not sure how many miles the previous owner put on it with it doing this.

I need to rebuild mine too. What are the torques and play specs?
