What codes did it throw?

I know Robert has a really good rep for building transmissions and I have faith he can build you one to stand up to the power you ll be making. How much power do you think your going to be making?
-
Looks like this is going to be 1 quick truck. Are you sticking with the 60e?
-
I actually run accel ceramic wires. Nobody ever talks about them, but I've never had a problem with one and my under the hood temps get pretty hot.
-
Mines a custom one made by David Steck at dsxtuning.
-
That's what mine looks like. If you think the ls9 will work then get it their cheap enough. I do think you would be better off with a map sensor from a supercharged colbolt. It is a 2 bar map sensor.
-
Does the holley intake allow you to bolt on a bracket or anything to keep the map sensor in? My proflow xt lets you bolt a bracket right over the top of the sensor. Mine would fit loose to if I didn't have that bracket.
-
A 2 bar or a 2.5 bar would fit your needs. I have heard of guys using the that map. I have a 2.5 bar that I ll sell pretty cheap.
-
18-19 currently but I've ran up to 22 psi messing around.
-
I run an ls3 and havent had any problems with it slamming shut will at WOT. But every blue moon it with go into REP for unknown reasons usually at idle.
-
Blow out orings? I never heard of that issue.

You got any pics of this thing?

Yeah I've read a ton about e85 on pt.nt, ls1tech, yellow bullet and even some of the ricer pages. They all very a bit. Some say run it fat with more timing and others say run it leaner with less timing. I think I'm going to try running it around the 11.5 (gas scale) like some of the guys on pt.nt said.
-
I went out to the track last friday and got to make two passes. The first one my truck ran really rich for some reason and I ran a 11.5. I leaned it out and didnt change anything else and made a 11.1 pass. I did get a little better 60' on the second pass going from a low 1.8 to a low 1.7. The two passes were both made on 18lbs. I'm still a novice tuner at best and was kinda wondering what AFR you E85 guys like to see going down the strip? I'm currently running at 11.1 AFR (gas scale). 11.1 view 1.MOV11.1 view 2.MOV

Well guys I haven't posted on this in awhile because I was having trouble with my IAT temps getting out of control. The last pass I made was 11.4 at 121 but my IAT reached 190 degrees by the end of the pass!! It cut my timing back to 6 degrees at that air temp. This was on 17 psi pass and a 70 degree day! Thank god for e85. I've discovered my intercooler was not up to par (cheap cx racing intercooler that cost me 180$ lol). I purchased a treadstone trttc9 intercooler and it has been a night and day difference so far but I haven't made a full 1/4 pass yet. I also got some new shoes for the truck because the nitto's I had were about 5 years old and they weren't able to hold any type of boost launching at all. I'm able to do 6-7 psi launch on these hankooks I got now. Hopefully here pretty soon I can make a 10 sec pass that I've wanted for awhile now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This was a test just to check out my math. I was trying to make e90 just for shits and grins. After it settled a little more it came out spot on. Since Norman stop selling e85 I have to go to the city to get it. Kinda sucks but no big deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I get it from both. But this last week I have just been getting it e100 from rs and making my own e85. My job is only like 3 miles from it so it's no big deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I shared this with the facebook page to let all the guys know that don't visit the forum often. I ll be saving up to buy one now. -
I run standard fuel line material with e85. I've had no issues for the last year and my lines show no signs of deterioration. I know alot of other guys to that run standard fuel line and have no issues. What I'm really thinking about doing is mixing my own e85. The e85 at the pump around here is pretty inconsistent. I've tested anywhere from e70 to e90 from an e85 pump. I dont know how much that really matters but i would like to have a consistent fuel blend.

On another note isn't e100 the same thing as moonshine? I wonder if I could get someone to drink it............. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The funny thing is the pump right next to it has 100 octane unleaded....I wonder if anyone has ever got the 2 confused lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk http://www.rsfuelok.com This is the station. It doesn't show e 100 or 100 octane unleaded on there site but it's there.
