I haven't had a lot of experience boost launching the truck. This is the 4th pass I've ever made in the truck built the way it is. I didn't even break a 1.9 60' on this run. With time I ll get it down. With my old supercharger I always just brought it off idle and I could always at Least pull a 1.8 like that but most of the time it was around a 1.7. I just need more experience or a launch controller lol.

Talk to whoever is making your converter and tell them exactly what you have. They can be made to be used with a spacer or not. If your using a stock converter (which I know your not) im pretty sure a spacer and flat flexplate would be needed. By the way I only thought the iron headed LQ4 had extended cranks?

Got to love new parts.

I Haven't got a chance to run again but might be able to this Friday. This was on 15lbs I believe. The truck is running on 20lbs now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well just an update here. I ended up running a tap into these rails. Whatever they used to cut the 3/8npt threads must have been worn out. So I got my fittings into my rails and I started mounting my injectors into my edelbrock intake and then tried to mount my rails on top. My injectors are too short! I bought the 48mm ls2 injectors and I should have gotten the 60mm ls1 injectors. Dang it! So injector dynamics shipped me a spacer cap for the top of the injectors. That will teach me to assume that a ls2 intake takes a ls2 injector. Lol!
I had the same issue on my fuel rails. I spent some time researching the injector height. I finally found it on a edelbrock forum. Just to let you know I almost made this same mistake.

I used a single Racetronix wire harness and wired in a second relay and separate power source with a fuse. I originally was going to run a hobbs switch but decided against it. Mine is just run to a flip switch so I can just flip it on or off to see if it is working or not by watching my fuel pressure gauge. I read to many horror stories about hobbs switches failing.

If you get a wiring harness from Ractronix be sure to double check it. They have be known to come wired wrong. I would just buy 1 harness and wire in a second relay. Why not just run both pumps at the same time?

Are you sure he didn't mean head gaskets? Is it a visible leak?

ls2 (Silver Blade) is what a lot of people run. They work most of the time without any hiccups. I run a Ls3 without any problems but a lot of people have issues with them. You can find them all day over on the camaro5 forum. I paid 90$ for one over there.

It's going pretty good I think. Ive made 4 passes on the truck so far the best being 11.6 @118. I'm having some issues with launching the truck. Best 60' has been 1.830. My fist pass was 15.02@ 106mph lol. I ll be looking to really crank it up soon.

I love my pro flo with the edelbrock fuel rails. I think it's a nice clean look. Good luck on the build.

Did you clear the codes and see if they came right back?

I agree they have a right to be here just like any of us "real" SS owners. And I liked the lifted ss by the way.

I agree with the badges though. I laugh at them all the time. But if it is full on clone, my hats off to you. There is a lot of work goes into that. Take for instance Will's truck. Sexy, and meaner than any active member's truck on the site. They deserve to be here.
I agree. I only make fun of the guys who put ss on the side of their truck and have did nothing else to the truck.

I used the adapter that time2kill makes. All torque converter and flex bolts are tight ( I double checked last night ) I did notice last night that there was some slop In the u joint on the rear driveshaft.

If clocking the driveshaft 180 degrees doesn't fix it, I would start to look at the front diff. Sounds to me like something isn't right in there. Any kinda of a growl or anything under decel?
I just got done rebuilding the front diff. The vibration started when I put the 80e in and the two driveshafts.

Truck runs great other then the vibration issue. Two different front driveshafts that were factory balanced did not get rid of the vibration. I think I need to look somewhere else on the truck.

Went to the junk yard and found a different driveshaft and tried it on the truck.......vibration is still there. On a positive note I picked up a complete hydro boost lines and all for 50$
