  1. Ok, so I disabled the rear O2's and re-flashed to a smoothed tune and the LTFT's didn't change much at all, not very noticable. Still have the bog on idle to WOT but the bog when cold has gotten alot better, still there, but alot better. I'm really thinking Catsstill. Any other thoughts? Thanks Cody
  2. Which meet is happening? I haven't had a whole lot of time to look through all of the forums lately, really sucks actually...I'll take a look and see if it's possible, I'll let you know.
  3. OK, just just disabling the DTC's also functionally disables the O2's too huh? That is great to know. I will try it today. Thanks.
  4. Just so I know, I disable the DTC's and just disconnect the rear sensors? I'm assuming the PCM will default to reading only the front instead of averaging by doing this?
  5. How would you find out if the rears are working? Don't they average between the front and rear? Should I try to turn off the rears to find out and if so, how do I do that? Thanks for the input. Cody
  6. That is actually what I've been thinking but I wanted to pose the question before spending five hundred dollars on two new cats and all four oxygen sensors. Hearing you suggest them makes me feel better knowing I was on the right path...
  7. The tune is the beta version, sorry. My high octane timing table is still stock and my low octane is 1/2 way between the high and low rather than just the high octane table as I had before. Other than that, I have changed nothing else but the VE table. I am running speed density now until I am all tuned in and will then run the MAF and tune that in as well. Any ideas why it would be bogging so bad though?
  8. Thought I would post some more info that may be asked for. Also, the truck is really bad when it is cold, bogs so bad on accel, even just a small amount of pedal and it feels and sounds like it may die. Anyways, here is two logs from today and the tune I am currently running. I know that the tune has a huge spike in the graph and I have smoothed that out but have not installed it yet, so far, this tune that I posted is the best at trying to tune out the lazy accel. Let me know. Thanks Cody 1-17-11 drive normal.hpl 1-17-11 one WOT hit.hpl MyStockRadixTune_4L80E_Updated 01-10-11 Tranny.hpt
  9. Well, I've been trying to see if it's a tuning issue but I just can't tune it out. I have a very lazy acceleration at WOT from idle. I have re-gapped my plugs to .030 and changed my MAP sensor and it has gotten a little better but I am now thinking it may be the O2's and/or cat's but I'm not sure...The truck now has about 98k miles and I know the O2's are recommened to be changed at 100k.I noticed this lazy accel when I put my last 4L65 in and now with my 4L80 in it. I have all shift points tuned in good and all the rest of the parameters are pretty much stock since this is a pretty stout built street/strip tranny so I'm at a loss to trying to figure out this laziness. It still has alot of power that comes on after I hit almost 3k rpms when I go WOT from idle and alot of power at highway speeds to WOT. Any help would be extremely helpful, I just don't want to be throwing parts at it with little to no results. Thanks in advance. Cody
  10. Thanks for the information guys, I didn't realize the newer LS7 cam was so close. I'll look into that. Thanks again
  11. That ebay cam kit is for an LS6 454 BBC. That is the engine in the '70 Chevelle SS.
  12. I'm pretty sure this has been asked but I'll admit, I was too lazy to do a search. Will a LS-9 cam and 54 tooth reluctor work in a LQ-9? I know there would be more than just the cam and reluctor swap since the reluctor is on the front of the LS-9 and on the back of the of the LQ-9. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Cody
  13. Good to hear this job and location change is going to work better for you. We'll need to gtg sometime. You should enjoy it here, summers are brutal here, just like Vegas, but the rest of the year is awesome.
  14. Thanks everyone, We're so glad that it was just the truck and no one here in the house...it can definately be repaired,,,got my first quote today of $1263 to pull the bed and weld repair / paint both inside the bed and out. My house is off of 67th about a mile south of I-10...
  15. Well, just ot back from my first estimate...$1263....they need to pull the bed, separate the inner and outer skins, straighten it, then weld repair and finish body work with paint and clear coat... Got another estimate tomorrow...
  16. Yep, The cops kept the bullet and made sure that nobody had handled it...
  17. I actually think it was a stray bullet...I'm actuall happy that the truck was where it is...otherwise that bullet may have made it into my daughters rooms...
  18. Searching for a new house to call home now...just have to find out how to climb out from under this house...I'm so upside down in it, but I'm trying to find a way...
  19. Yep...don't know who, why or even if it was intended to hit my truck or be toward my home...
  20. As I was leaving to go do some groccery shopping, I passed by my truck in the wifes suv and seen this...
