  1. So much drama I missed!

I daily drive a 300C, it's not a complete slouch and I imagine stock to stock it should be quicker than a Silverado SS just due to the 1000 lb weight difference. They have pretty much the same power specs. And yes tons of guys put all kinds of tacky shit on them, I had to remove a bunch when I bought it.

  2. Looks good, I have big ass wheel syndrome too even though I know it doesn't help.

I just finally got the tuning stuff done on mine too, took forever but makes such a difference. Now to actually find time to go to a track and find an AWD dyno.

Will hopefully be getting my interior and some engine bay wiring cleanup done over the winter.

  3. I've run both, I actually have a set of Pacesetters for sale after going to ARHs with larger primaries, but the ARHs cost 4 to 5x as much. If your not going crazy on the build the Pacesetters are plenty and work great.

  4. Looks nice man, but seems almost like a sin to coat over polished aluminum lol.

They were actually previously powdercoated black by someone before me, only the lip was polished. If they were still fully polished I would have probably left them alone.

I don't have a side shot yet, will try to get one tomorrow when I drive it again.

I was really somewhat disappointed in them at first honestly due to the color being so different, so I totally understand the mixed reactions. I was trying to get closer to a black base with much less red and a closer to matching color. They grew on me after a couple weeks and look a lot better in person. If it turns out I change my mind later I can always get them redone, it wasn't too expensive.

  5. I have been researching a lot on how to route my vacuum lines and there is just too much information out there to make sense of so I figured I would check here.

I am pretty sure I want to get a catch can to add to this as well, just waiting on a couple answers from one of the vendors so I can order it.

I attached a few pictures and here are the descriptions of what each is and where it is routed currently.

I am running an FAST LSXR intake, Nick Williams 102mm dbw throttle body, ABEAR valve covers, L92 heads, and a CAI, I think that is most of what is involved in this.

1 - Passenger side valve cover, currently routed to #2

2 - Intake, currently routed directly to #1

3 - Intake, I circled the wrong thing, it is actually up and to the right a bit on the full engine picture or up and to the left on the smaller picture. It is a line on the side of the intake that goes to the evap purge solenoid and continues to the gas tank.

4 - Driver valve cover, currently nothing there, if anyone knows what size insert I need it would save me some time trying to figure it out, I think this should be routed towards #1 and #2 and added in there somehow?

5 - Passenger side head, routes to drive side head, assuming not relevant here but I figured I'd be thorough.

6 - Valley Cover? Not sure if this is used either.

The diagram labeled LS7 wet sump seems to make the most sense to me if I install a catch can, that is if #6 is indeed supposed to be used.

The pictures in this thread also seem to be pretty close to what I need to do, so it may help as well:
