  1. Welcome to the site. I have a 1987 Lincoln Mark VII LSC currently as my beater/daily driver while my truck is getting a new transmission so I actually recognized the AOD thing, it's been a fairly decent car so far and I got it super cheap, has the 225HP 5.0 HO engine and is basically a fox mustang with a heavier body.

I have a full set of black cladding for an SS if you are still looking for it, just let me know.

  2. That makes sense, first time I have bought a transmission and torque converter so I wasn't sure, just figured for warranty purposes they would want it all together. it arrived there today so hopefully everything will be going in early next week.

  3. Called them up today, apparently they always ship their converters separately. I would think they would have installed it and found a way to ship it as a whole unit. Should have tracking on it tomorrow.

  4. I have been asking $1200 for my set, but I am open to offers. Shipping I estimated to run $150-$200 for all of it since it's going to be a large strange shaped box. I have all of the side pieces and the tailgate strip, as well as most of the brackets, I think I might be missing a few of them but they are pretty easy to make. The front passenger small piece on the fender is the only one with damage and it should probably be replaced, but I am including it as well since someone might be able to salvage it. It is in pretty good shape overall and if your painting it anyway it won't matter.

  5. Small update, new AHR 1 7/8" headers are sitting there, going to be reusing my electric cutouts, my tips, and probably my high flow cats but run all new pipe. Should I keep the resonator and add mufflers or replace the resonators with mufflers? Any ideas what would go best with the rest of my setup?

Transmission and torque converter are being finished up and should be on the way up to me next week. Also have the new input shaft from Time2Kill sitting with the headers and an updated tune with the 4L80E stuff in it from Justin at Black Bear (I wholly recommend him by the way, he has had to earn his money on this pain in the ass build). Will just need to modify the driveshafts and crossmember, do the bit of wiring, and hopefully be good to go finally.

  6. I'm open to anything. I don't really need much for my truck but I might be building a LS for my 1958 soon.PM me some of the parts that you have..

I have a set of injectors I think 42# but I need to check. I also have a 90mm throttle body and LS3 intake

    Also have the following:

    Dash Cluster Orange Needles

OBD2 Cable with adapters to USB, believe the setup is for LS1Edit or some similar software

    Diamond Audio M5 12" Subwoofer

    Silverado SS Radiator two part

    Gas Tank

    Front Drive Shaft

    Rear Drive Shaft

Metal Chrome Front Bowtie, should be repainted or powder coated

Map Light and cubby housing with all wiring

Diamond Chrome Headlights - they are nice lights just not my style

    Bose 6 Disc Changer

    Bose Front 6.5" Speakers

Auto Meter Lunar Boost Gauge with A Pillar it is mounted to

    Headliner

    Airraid Cold Air Intake

    1999-2002 Tail Lights

    Electric fans

Silverado SS wheels powder coated black with black center caps, three good Nitto 420S 305/55R20 tires and one that has damage but still holds air, also includes a silver spare wheel with new tire

    GMC Denali/Yukon 02~up Headlights

I also have plenty of video game and firearm stuff too depending what your in to.

  7. I have done a lot of research on this as well, I just got my set of 1 7/8 AHRs last week to go on when the transmission gets swapped out, it was worth the money according to all my research given the power my engine should be making. 1 3/4 are fine for anything near stock or under around the 600hp mark as mentioned above.

  8. I have an extra dipstick and the tube that I wont be using.

How much do you want for it shipped to 98229?

I would not recommend the 10A kit from PATC. In this kit, it looks like they're make the output shaft on the 80e smaller so it will fit the smaller input shaft inside your transfer case. IMO this defeats the purpose of the larger/stronger diameter output shaft on the 80e. I would recommend contacting time2kill and ordering his custom made, larger diameter input shaft for your transfer case.

I take it that isn't the same shaft than? I already contacted Time2Kill and got a quote, was seeing what the difference was before I ordered it since there is a pretty big price difference and this build has cost me a ton, trying to save a bit where I can.

  9. I have a week or two to try and track down the rest of the parts for the 4L80E swap I am doing so I figured I would check with you guys and see if anyone has stuff that they picked up but didn't end up using. I will do the wiring myself and my shop can mod the crossmember in about an hour unless someone has a super cheap one.

    I need the following:

    4L80E dipstick

Modified Transfer Case Input Shaft - is #10A the right thing on the below page? Do I just need the shaft or both the adapter and the shaft?

    http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4l80e.htm

    An extra speed sensor harness

    Driveshafts

I am also looking for a hydroboost setup if anyone happens to have one of them available.

  10. I looked at the Injector Dynamics ones too and I passed since they were so expensive. I ended up with the FAST 65# injectors for about $400.

ARH told me to get 1 7/8" headers, so I called around and everyone seems to agree as they are enough space and much easier to fit so I should have a matching set to yours soon.
