  1. That is sweet. Must say I am partial to the Mario theme! LOL
  2. Congrats on getting to come home! Tennessee is the place to be! LOL
  3. Sweet truck IMO. Nice kill on the second video!
  4. I vote option 4 or 1. Bright red (maybe Viper red or Victory red ) looks great on the 57's in a resto-mod or pro touring configuration. I am a tri-five fanatic. My second option is the colonial cream. I have to say, if you keep it close to original stance and keeping the original vibe. Just for the record, I envy your dilemna! Good luck with your choice and post lots of pics!
  5. Looks great. I am anxious to see what all you end up doing to both cars. :lurk: If they end up as nice as your SSS, they will rock!!!
  6. Nice DD. Those are great little cars. I did have an 06 XB as a dd, but sold it and am driving my dad's old S10 as my DD. Here it is with a $hit load of straw on it! LOL
  7. By the way, you gonna keep the SSS if you get the Vette?
  8. Love the Vette! Guess I'll have to wait till the kids are grown? My dad had one and it was a blast to drive! When I mention one to my wife, she always says, where do you put the groceries? LOL Who needs groceries when you have a Z06?

Thanks for the link. I'm considering this mod too!
  10. Yeah, I changed the gear oil Thursday. Put in Mobil 1 syn. It has not helped at all. i guess it is too far gone to stop the whine now?
  11. That truck has been for sale for a while! (Not surprised!) I remembering stumbling accross it when i was shopping for mine!
  12. Thanks guys. I may just try to find a couple on ebay? I am glad to see they are still available at retail vendors. I have used LMC before for some S10 parts.
  13. I'm confused. Are we voting for the rarest color or our favorite among the rare colors? What are the production numbers of the 2 colors?
  14. Wagner Thermo Quiet pads are great pads. I know O'Reilly and Parts City stores have them.
  15. Well, I have been dalaying my front diff rebuild for a while now. I have my guys lined up to do it when I am ready, but figured I would put it off for as long as I can. A fellow member was messaging me and had a similar problem, but his ended up being a wheel bearing. So, I decided to drain my front diff oil to see what it looked like. It was a silvery mess. It was completely full of silver metallic flakes and the magnetic drain plug was covered in clumps of metal shavings. I screwed my drain plug in about 10 times and got more and more shavings out. I was hoping for the best but found the worst. Oh well, guess at least I know for sure now. On a side note, my ABS has started to "shutter" during normal stopping from low speeds. From what I have read on here, sounds like my speed sensors in my front hub assemblies are giving me problems. When it rains, it pours! Frome the prices of the speed sensors, I would be better off to just replace the entire hub assemblies. What do you all think?
  16. Anything bigger than 22" , I dont like.
  17. My truck is black and I want to paint mine red. I wont ever pay for corvette calipers or Baers, but i hope to paint my factory ones.
