Yeah I was pulling the heads anyway to replace lifters and found this IMA take the head to machine shop tomorrow

Well just got done pulling the head off the truck to find a stuck lifter and a nice pretty little kiss mark the valve left on my piston its not major butt hopeing the valve is OK BC I don't wanna have to buy a titanium valve so we shall see tomorrow

Well that's why I was asking but I ordered a set of the Bryan tooley lifters last night so we shall see

Well I'm using everything comp told me to use and its only one lifter on the driver side back .... I can warranty these ls7 lifters out but don't want this problem again ... could my can be too big for the lifters or what

Are they good lifters? BC I need to find something to order tonight so I can put the motor back in asap lol

Yeah that's what imntrying to figure out what lofters to use BC I have NEVER had any luck with comp lifters never.... anyone know any more out there I could use BC I dont want to do this again

And yeah I hate to see it go to I love this truck sooo much and have a lot of memories with it and said I'd never sell it but I just can't deal with the headaches anymore or broke wallet so I'm looking at tahoes now

Well guess I'll figure out the problem tomorrow BC I started pulling the motor out tonight but going to finish in the am BC its got a lifter noise sounds like to me now on the back driver side cylinder loud when I rev it and quite when its idiling .... I just get so aggravated when I don't even have 300 miles on this motor but I was wondering is possibly my cam to big for ls7 lifters and may need to get a better lifter I have a torquer v3 cam?

Yeah BC idiling it don't really make much noise and its not a constant noise its a hit and miss sorta thing its just aggravating me this damn truck is being a little bitch lol but IMA figure it out BC I already have it sold its time for something new

OK do was driving this evil truck of mine yesterday and noticed the oil pressure was dropping and when I stopped it was below 40psi and its usually a good bit above 40 .... now it sounds like something in the front of the motor is binding up when running and was wondering of this could be the oil pump and if anyone has had or heard anything bad about these oil pimps messing up I mean I don't even have 1,000 miles on it

And yeah sinr 98 I'm not gonna skimp out on this motor I'm going to build a real nice piece with it and those heads came with it so don't know abt that yet

Possibly the SS with 3 systems on it but that's gonna take a lot of work to get to even think about getting traction unless I put the awd back in it or buy me another camaro roller and build me a street car

May sell them or keep them for another build

OK so I picked up a lsx block today and cncd l92 and matched intake... I'm looking to do a 440 to 515 ci build .... It came with new pistons and rods for a 408 build but to me that's just to small for such a heavy motor so I'm going to need a crank rods and pistons for a big ci build.. also need Double roller adj timing chain ARP main studs ARP head studs And w.e else you think you may have that I need for this build. Thanks

OK well figured I'd get rid of some of this stuff since I no longer have the vehicles so first off for the ctsv I have 2 engine covers a set of headlight/ taillights , a leather steering wheel and a suede steering wheel , chrome grill .... and for the vette I have a cfz lip kit off a z06....... now I haven't had time to look up these parts but I know there worth a few $$$ so make me a reasonable offer and we can go from there thanks
