Yeah ima clean it and set it on the desk lol but yeah this is in my 02 reg cab short bed truck and i did the fluid change and it didnt work so i just drove it till it did lol but im in it right now at $850 with all new seals bearings unit and gears and new brakes and rotors and u joint lol.... . Id say i have a 201 truck just a 2002 body lol

welll as yall know ive been having issues out of my g80 diff well the other night it finally decided to leave me on the side of the road so i tore into this morning and this is what i found.... also got my new gears today and my new detroit trutrack and all new seals and bearings... ENJOY!

well i ordered the true track.... pretty dumb tho that they take a special bearing and not a factory one

but im putting this in a lil reg cab short bed truck ... not going to be racing it or anything

bc i have to have this thing fixed this weekend and thats the only thing my performance shop had in stock.... whats bad with the auburn

well some of you know i was asking about my g80 locker being stuck and yall told me to change it bc it was about to go and sue enough last night traveling on a back road doing about 60 65 BAMMMMM!!!!!! not going to lie it scared the shit out of me lol.... it locked the wheels up for a good few sec then busted loose and rolled into a parking lott... well tried to put it in 4 high and try to limp home but nope the rear end wouldnt let it lol ........ but just went i got me a new auburn unit and a new set of gears and hopefully will get it fixed this weekend..... will post some pics later when i tear into it

like the title says im trying to clean up some stuff out the garage and i still got my front diff and front and rear shafts.... rear is aluminum... also got the 4wd trans didnt have any problems out of it but did have to steal the selector shaft out of it due to the one in my 2wd trans was to short ... throw me some offers s

ok ive done everything ive could to try to get this damn g80 to stay unlocked in my 02 4wd and this thing is about to grenade ..... so im looking for a differnt model or maybe a aftermarket one figured i would check on here bf i go spend $450 on a auburn unit

Ive had 2 good people build it that does all my other trans and never had a problem out of my other ones.... just this ford one but someone at for told me today that the case or something was bad in them and it was to much of a hasel to put a recal on all the ones that were in the batch and no mater how many time u fix it it isnt going to last long soooooo guess ima buy a new one

Lol i really traded my car in for this truck for my dad in high school and would likevto fix it and let him enjoy it again hes been stuck in his work truck lol and deserves it

OK welllllll i know this is a sss site but I'm sure some of u gear heads will know lol but here it goes i got a 04 ford f150 4.6 auto and this will be the #3 transmission going in it since i bought it new and every time I've had it rebuilt they last about a month and go out again... does anyone know anybody that makes a good rebuilt kit for these things with after market hard parts like the od clip etc I'm tired of rebuilding trans every year its getting aggravating

yeah man lol when i bought it my uncle just put a new motor and trans it and forgot to put fluid in the dang t case and drove it and messed it up lol but scored and got a new one for $300!!!!
