  1. License Plate ... All the new series Massachusetts license plates are reflective. That is truly just the right camera angle. No trick photography, but just the right timing.

Thanks man I'm gonna try and find those bulbs for myself they look awesome.

Ah.. I wish my license plate was that reflective.. help against that damn photo radar lol

Edit: Here is how I routed my ballasts, under the (i guess its called) the rad frame, I got a little lazy with the wiring on the passenger side but you get the gist. You can't quite see the ballasts themselves except thru the holes, but its directly under the bar with the zipties on it.

First 2 are passenger side, last one is drivers side.

  2. Here are my install pics ... To give some of you some ideas ...

    Low Beam Install - 9006 6K HID

    High Beam Install - 9005 6K HID

I like the High beam ballast location, I actually have a very nice spot for my low beams, I'll take a pic a little bit later today and post it here, it might be too hard to explain via text.

Btw, what bulbs are those in your DRL's? And how the hell is your license plate so reflective?

  3. Yeah I am pulling off the deflector. I know I need new tires soon so maybe I should just suck it up and put on some rims with them, I will never be lowering my truck as I prefer the stock height and have a ton of pot holes locally, so I might just try to get a decent black set of 22" and throw on some decent tires. Guess I better start saving as I would rather put a few hundred towards a few rims than painting ones I don't really like in the first place.

We have horrible potholes here in Edmonton too but I can't resist the temptation of lowering my truck so I'm goinna do it this summer :P Just make a game out of dodging the potholes haha. You could even just get SS replica rims and that would be a really nice improvement.

  4. Hmmm dipped eh? What did that cost if you don't mind my asking? I wanna do something similar but I was just thinking of getting some wrap, but don't wanna deal with any air bubbles or crease/seam lines.

  5. you don't need to remove the throttle body to clean it, just pull off your air intake tube, spray some cleaner on a rag and wipe it out. The MAF is attached to the air filter just pop it off and spray it clean with some maf cleaner.
