License Plate ... All the new series Massachusetts license plates are reflective. That is truly just the right camera angle. No trick photography, but just the right timing.
Thanks man I'm gonna try and find those bulbs for myself they look awesome.
Ah.. I wish my license plate was that reflective.. help against that damn photo radar lol
Edit: Here is how I routed my ballasts, under the (i guess its called) the rad frame, I got a little lazy with the wiring on the passenger side but you get the gist. You can't quite see the ballasts themselves except thru the holes, but its directly under the bar with the zipties on it.
First 2 are passenger side, last one is drivers side.

I like the High beam ballast location, I actually have a very nice spot for my low beams, I'll take a pic a little bit later today and post it here, it might be too hard to explain via text.
Btw, what bulbs are those in your DRL's? And how the hell is your license plate so reflective?
-
Wow that is a huge plus, are there mounting spots on it to tie zip ties to? Because DDM slims don't have any holes or anything anymore and its a big piss off when hiding the ballasts.

that is B.A.M.F.

Hmmm I'll have to look into that then, looks like it is a way better idea than the wrap.
-
Yeah I am pulling off the deflector. I know I need new tires soon so maybe I should just suck it up and put on some rims with them, I will never be lowering my truck as I prefer the stock height and have a ton of pot holes locally, so I might just try to get a decent black set of 22" and throw on some decent tires. Guess I better start saving as I would rather put a few hundred towards a few rims than painting ones I don't really like in the first place.
We have horrible potholes here in Edmonton too but I can't resist the temptation of lowering my truck so I'm goinna do it this summer Just make a game out of dodging the potholes haha. You could even just get SS replica rims and that would be a really nice improvement.
-
Hmmm dipped eh? What did that cost if you don't mind my asking? I wanna do something similar but I was just thinking of getting some wrap, but don't wanna deal with any air bubbles or crease/seam lines.
-
Thanks for sharing! Is it worth it to replace the DDM ballasts with these guys? Or would just new bulbs be good enough?
-
Yeah those rims are hurtin.. I would probably remove the bug deflector too, its kind of an eye sore for me, the previous owner of mine had a set on the poor girl, pulled em off the day i bought it.
-
Are your interior pieces painted or is that a vinyl wrap type thing? I really like it and wanna do it to mine now lol
-
you don't need to remove the throttle body to clean it, just pull off your air intake tube, spray some cleaner on a rag and wipe it out. The MAF is attached to the air filter just pop it off and spray it clean with some maf cleaner.
-
I hope after this picture you proceeded to remove every single stupid decal on that poor girl
-
The 3/4 is completely bolt on is it not? I would go for that purely because of the ease of install. It's what I'm buying in the summer.
-
ok perfect, thank you very much guys

Hey guys just got a quick question, I went out today to buy some spark plugs and wires and couldnt figure out what type of coils our SS have? Either delphi or mistubishi?

Cats
in General SS
Offer to pay the work in cash so theres no paper trail of him doing the work so he can't be fined if you get ticketed/caught with em out?
-
Shes a work in progress... Lots coming in the summer!
Running boards are already off the truck before anyone notices.. lol previous owner did some questionable mods to it.
-
Looking good so far!
*in for updates

Those bumper leds look interesting, I would love to see them actually on a truck before passing any actual judgement. The other two seem like a good choice. Personally I would go smoked.
-
I had hooker LT headers on my tbi 350. it was a 95 though.
-
Lol almost fooled me actually.
-
It's very easy to DIY tbh. Not to try and pull a sale away from ya Silverado777 lol.
-
To be fair, at least in my area, it is very rare and odd to see asians driving trucks. Not to sound like a racist or anything lol.
