Oh of course the 12's will sound better. I barely had room for the 8's though, so I know 10's or 12's are out of the question. I wouldnt recommend a Kicker amp. Im a big fan of Rockford Fostgate amps myself.

The L7 8's sound pretty good. The have good mid-high end bass. The lows kick but its weaker than I would like, but theyre 8's. Haha. The seat covers are from Clazzio. They do offer more customization, for a higher price of course. Fort Polk isnt all that great, but if you venture out to some of the surrounding areas, its good times. Im from LA myself (lafayette). Enjoy the crawfish!

McMahan - Have a good time at Campbell. Its a pretty nice post. Clarksville is pretty nice. I wont be there when you get there in Feb. Im PCSing to Fort Stewart, GA this September.

The truck originally came with cloths seats. As you can see, it has leather now. For seat covers, I think they look pretty good

Corsa Sport exhaust system is finally on! As you can see, I went with the rear exit instead of the side exit like most do. It sounds great!

Finally got some pictures of what Ive got done so far. Edge CTS programmer. Hooked up the free backup camera Crutchfield.com gave me to it. Put in the HID low and high beams. Need to do the fogs still. 10,000K. I never had floor mats for the truck, so I ordered a set with SILVERADO embroidered into them.

Hoping to get the Mangaflow cats and Corsa exhaust put on this weekend. Just finished up with the new leather interior. Ill snap some pictures of that in a bit!

The new front end on and painted. A subthump downfire box loaded with 2 Kicker Solo Baric L7's. (8 Inch).

Hey guys. Finally home. Got the subs in the box, and the box in the truck. All wired up. Sounds great!

The bed rails do come off. I've been busy moving into the new house so they have come in handy for now messing up the paint. I may take them off eventually.

Im somewhat new to the truck scene, so bear with me here. I read a lot of post about things like stall kits, and vette servos, but I dont really know what these things are. Could someone please enlighten me? I need some edu-macation.

I guess im a bit late for this party... I dont have a better picture on my computer, but here is the side exhaust that I put onto my crew cab. Please excuse the truck, its my clone project that I just started on. Im running Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers right now. Hopefully you dont run into the problem that I have. The exhaust piping on mine runs just below the rear leaf spings, so when I put the truck on the lift and the tires drop it pushes down on my exhaust.

Ive got the Magnaflow Cats, a Corsa Sport exhaust, and Summit Racing headers sitting at the house waiting to be put on right now. I just have to get home from Afghanistan first! (2 more days)

Also [now that im thinking about it] I already have a forward firing box behind the rear seat with 2 shallow mount 10 inch subs. So the two 8 inch subs will be additional bass to the truck. All hidden away, which is somewhat what im going for. I have an oversized ported box that goes in my wifes car that I had just sitting on the backseat for a while just to aggravate people in traffic. Haha. Good times.

Ill be back stateside in 3 days. Cant wait to start putting all the new goodies on the truck. Ill be sure to post a ton of pictures of the build progress.
