I like to set my cruise on 90 most of the time when going on long trips with lots of open highway. At least here I would only be +5 and might not get ticketed for it.
Ive got an 05 Silverado crew cab that Ive begun to turn into a SS clone project. Im looking for the cladding for the bottom of the tailgate, and the pieces for behind the rear tires. And help would be greatly appreciated!

I had 2 Kicker Solo Baric 10's (L5) in a different truck, and loved them (till the voice coils went out). The L7 8's should be decently loud since the box airspace matches the subs needed airspace. Really looking forward to putting it all in.
The box that I got is also a Subthump box. Im really looking forward to putting it all in.
Only 28 more days till im out of here and get to start playing with all the new toys!
Oh trust me, Ive already spent most of my deployment money, and my reenlistment bonus. Im saving to get my wife & I a couple of motor cycles and/or jet skis right now, and deposit on a place when I get back!
Thanks for all the input guys. When I get back from Afghanistan (55 days to go) I plan on removing the side moldings, and getting all the handles and mirror caps painted.
The truck is going back to the paint and body shop to have the rear bumper put on soon. Im planning on seeing if they can paint the door handles and mirror cap while its there. I plan on stripping the side moldings when I get home from Afghanistan.
Ill be sure to post pictures of the interior when I get home and get the leather put in. It also had the white SS gauges at one time, but the motors that turn the needles went out on them so I had to put the original ones back in.
I did 2 1/2 inch lowering shackles on the rear end. I dont think im going to go any lower with it just because I tow boats, jet skis, trailers of dirbikes/quads all the time.
