  1. I am selling my 6.0 AWD Silverado that is completely rust free and from California. The truck is in great shape and has many modifications but is still 100% reliable. There are a couple very small imperfections but overall the truck is in excellent shape and I would drive it anywhere. All modifications have less than 10k miles on them. The truck is lowered 3/4 but rides great. Only selling because I do not use it.

    The truck also has a full stereo with bluetooth and 2 12" Subwoofers with a Kenwood amp. I drove the truck through its 1 and only winter last year and have stock chrome 20" wheels with new Blizzaks that could be negotiated. I also have most stock parts that will come with the truck. I have a steering wheel that I have not installed since the one on it is wore, I also have new leather for the bottom of the drivers seat that is not installed. I planned on keeping the truck a long time however a job change has me not driving it at all. The truck was tuned at Baker Engineering and has been to the track once and made 2 passes in the 13s. I have any information needed and specs as well. Not looking for trades and not going to give it away as these trucks are very hard to come by without any rust and without being abused. I am sure there are things that I am missing but this is most of it.

  2. Pretty excited to run a set of actual snow tires on my truck this year. Picked up a set of stock chrome wheels and some blizzak dm-v2 tires. Was going to run 22s with hankooks but decided it was not worth the risk. Truck should be a beast this winter

  3. I have 2 of these left and right, 1 has a broken tab but i have the piece and could probably be epoxied. They have stainless inserts in them that are not perfect. I can get picks if needed. I would take 100 for them. Can text or get pics if needed.

  4. I have had good luck with long tubes and actually mandrel bent 4" with the biggest straight thru magnaflow 7" round muffler they make. It gets tucked up and dumped at the passenger rear by the bumper. the size is overkill but the sound is deep with 0 rasp and actually much less droan than a flowmaster in stock position with the rest stock.

  5. Thanks guys, for mileage the truck still got pretty close to stock as long as you stayed out of boost. The converter hurt mileage in town more than anything. but it would still get 15 or 16 on a trip.

  6. Depends if it sells with the sierra. This truck will be getting some form of boost. I will not be going 9s lol, I am confident my previous truck would have with more seat time and a fresh trans. 3 passes total with drag radials and a 2 step was not enough for me to get it completely figured out. This truck will probably end up with a turbo 12ish lbs of boost a 4l80 and converter. My last truck at that level was 100% reliable and ran mid high 11s. This truck will be a daily driver.

  7. Some of you may or may not know but my previous turbo silverado burned basically to the ground about a year ago. The truck made its best pass to date at 10.18 with a slipping trans in 2nd gear. The truck only went 134mph and went 138mph earlier in the day on less boost. Since this time I have been driving a turbo lifted Sierra. I have decided a lifted truck is not for me and purchased a rust free 2003 SS that needs a little work. Glad to be back into one of the trucks and a part of the community again.

  8. Thanks guys, I too will always have an extinguisher now. When tearing the truck apart i found that the front seal was pushed out of the case completely and that is where it originated. The flames were coming up the passenger side on the downpipe by the firewall when I initially opened the hood. The truck was on E85. I purchased a CTS V in July of this year as a new project and planned on returning the SS to more of a driver on pump gas.

  9. I made this pass almost 2 months ago, however as some know my truck started on fire on the way home from the track. The front seal somehow pushed out of the trans and put fluid all over the crossover and downpipe which immediately started on fire. This was the first time the truck was at the track with drag radials and a 2 step. First pass the truck went 10.4x on a few lbs less boost than I normally run. Second pass the truck went 10.35 with just a couple hundred rpm added to the 2 step. Third pass I added a couple hundred more rpm to the 2 step and added a couple pounds of boost, the truck spun just a touch but went a 1.58 60ft however on the 1-2 shift the trans slipped terribly but i stayed in it and managed a 10.28 pass with its slowest mph of the day at 134mph. The truck went 137 earlier in the day with less boost and I am certain with some more seat time and a good trans the truck would have had a high 9 sec pass at 140. I was able to salvage some of the parts from the truck which went on my daily sierra and have now moved onto another platform for a project. Here are a couple videos from that day, sorry it looks like it was filmed with a potato. Also I do not have the slips from this day but have them all documented up to it.
