Left foot on the brake to bring rpms up and let it go, you can also try leaving from an idle and just flooring it to flash the converter a little higher as well. Try different rpms until you figure out what works with your set up.

Thanks guys, it was at US131 motorsports park in martin MI. I only made 4 passes in the truck that night the first I left east and went 11.95, the second 2 I tried leaving harder and spun bad both times. The pass in the video I dont know what rpm i left at but I was at about 5-6psi so probably 3700 or so it will foot brake to a max of about 4100rpm. The front was not stapped and the tires were not aired down at all, it spun just a little but not but not bad at all. My truck with a 65e and stock converter went 12.8 at 111 or so on about 10psi. AKsss how many lbs are you running? Any dyno numbers?

Transmission was removed for 4l80 upgrade. It has 70k miles on it and is in perfect working order. The trans has a few upgrades including, Transgo HD2 kit with .500 boost valve, aluminum accumulator pistons, as well as a vette servo. Comes complete with dipstick tube and torque converter. The trans had an external cooler and rarely got over 180, it also had regular fluid changes. $500

I was hoping for ab 11sec slip this year and it happened on the first pass, the truck went 11.9 at 114. Later on in the night the truck went 11.76 at 116 with a 1.75 60ft. The truck did run as fast as 117.6 but spun on the launch. Very happy to get this heavy truck consistently in the 11s.

I have an Aeroforce scan gauge that monitors knock. It is nice because it has 2 red LEDs on it that you can set up to turn on if you have xxx amount of knock or more even if you are not watching that function on the display.

I have been looking but have been having a hard time figuring out what people are actually doing to convert from the 60e wiring to make it work with the 80e. The swap is going to be an a 04 awd ss. i do not want to do a segment swap if possible due to the lockup "issues" at less than 5% throttle. I would like to have the 60e tune modified if possible.

I have a kb kit on my 04 and love it. It has been reliable with not one issue since install a year ago. My trans has been good as well with aluminum accumulator pistons, a hd kit and vette servo. Although I am doing a 4l80 swap in a month or so. I looked at some other options of FI but am definately glad I went turbo as I have plans to grow.

I have had a few cars tinted 5%, I like this the best so far, it is 20% on the front doors, factory on the rears, and 35% on the whole windshield. With HIDs it is not bad at night and also with the windshield being done it lets less light in the truck making the other windows look darker from the outside.

Good to know my truck is also stuck at either 43% or 44% and has been since I bought it.

How many pounds of boost were you running?

My screen name is the same on there. The truck has a KB Racing setup with a front mount and a Borg Warner S472 with a 1.25ar. It has 72lb injectors and a 255 in tank. The truck made just over 500whp but would only make about 8psi on the dyno and makes 10 on the street. It has trapped a best of 111.5 to date with a basically stoclk 4l65 and a stock converter.
