For direct factory replacement I would go with alpine type s 6.5 but if your going to amp them then get rockford power series, they scream man. Rockford power series is my personal favorite speakers. Don't get me wrong I love jl but soooooo expensive. I choose jl for subs tho no doubt best subs.

I just figured everyone has a shop man bowtie(witch I am not bashing I love them) just wanted to try something else. I think I have a pretty good idea on how to do it now. imo. The stealth box sounds really good and adds a good bump to your truck. He had the 12 w3 and it sounded great. I've never herd the 10 w6 but if I were to get one I'd probably do the 10. I personally like tens better. I currently have a 12" pro box under my away with no sub or anything lol. It say in my last truck also. I got it on a trade with a buddy and never went any further with it lol. Not sure if I ever will either

So if there is anyone watching this thread witch I doubt but ill keep posting the progress. Did the high filler primer to smooth it out completely and get rid of the texture. Did a couple coats of that and just about ready for paint now.

Ya its not the coolest. I am just trying to do something a little different then EVERY one else. everyones got a shopman . Just brain storming lol. As you can see I don't think of the best ideas lol.

Had some extra emblems layin around and wanted to throw some on the front grille. I just stuck them on with some electrical tape to see wat they looked like. I kinda like it. Wat do you guys think? If I decide I like them enough I'll put them on with hot glue. Alot of it lol. Sort for the dirty truck and bad pic.

Do the stealth box. Your not guna hardly tell a difference with the w3 6.5. One of my budys here tried it and I wasn't impressed specially for the money it cost and he wasnt either.he ended up doing the stealth anyways.

Ok so I started the process of smoothing out the gauge bezel and passenger side vents. Its turning out good so far. I did the bondo once and smoothed it and had some spots that still needed to be filled so did it a second time and made it nice and smooth and then tomorrow I will finish up and paint them black. I'll post more pics as I finish

Is the truck a 6.5 bed? If so would you consider selling the tonneau cover seperatly ?

I have those tails and I tinted them really dark. I like the way they light up and work but I can't stand the ugly box that sticks out for the reverse lights. It drives me crazy cause I like smooth. I am definatly going to get something new soon. As for the mega third brake light, I hate them they are just to much

So do you think a windshield sun protector thing would be a good investment? I did buy an adhesion promoter for the project. I'm pretty exited about doing it along with the red leds in the whole interior. And I will definatly post a bunch of pics of the process and then final product to.

Ya they switched to that sh** a couple years ago here and it does major damage to rims. If ya don't keep your rims really clean it pits the hell out of them and strains them. Its nasty stuff. That's why I bought a pos hyundai accent for my dd and leave the truck garaged as much as I can. I've never heard of the vinegar thing but that is something to try. I usually pull my truck up on my car ramps and get under it and get wet lol. I just scrub the frame and everything I can get to and rinse it off good but this is only when it gets nice enough out to do it. Otherwise I just pressure wash as good as I can during the winter.
