  1. ^ x2. You'll probably get an SES light for the rear O2's as well.
  2. Got a question on that though, wouldn't the dyno reading be off since the tcase is still splitting power? I would think it would read low, but I've never dealt with an AWD on the dyno that disconnected one shaft.
  3. lol I can check my date, what's your idea?
  4. I thought you could get that motor with the right reluctor wheel already? And my bad, I thought the blocks were already tapped for the knock sensors. I knew about the LS2 front cover though, don't know how that slipped my mind, guess a few too many at dinner earlier lol. I'm with you on building your own motor though. I'd build a nice 408, but that engine will probably find it's way into alot of hot rods, I think that's more of it's target market IMO.
  5. Should swap right in. The basis of the block is LSx universal. Setting up the new intake manifold and relocating the coils (or new valve covers) should be the only mods needed really.
  6. hahahahah, maybe............ So I take it you have 2004 trucks unlocked in HPT huh
  7. I posted what's in my 04' owners manual in your welcome thread
  8. In all honesty it just looks like a blacked out lifted Silverado to most people, I don't think it looks bad at all but I wouldn't do it to an SS. I saw a prerunner'd SS that I actually liked.
  9. My owners manual as a huge break down of every model, my 04' 5.3 with 3.73's is 8100lbs. They list a 6.0 2wd truck with 3.73's at 8300lbs and 4.10's at 10300lbs, 4WD trucks are 300lbs less.
  10. Thanks guys!! I need to take a few snap shots of the truck soon, these are the only 2 I have at the moment lol: This is my buddies Rodeo, you can see the Sierra in the driveway: I'm hoping to learn from and add to the forum soon enough. Here are a few pics of my past rides: The Z71 My 1st car That's just a few of my old toys lol.
  11. Hey guys, looking to gather some parts for an AWD conversion on my truck. Right now I'm mainly looking for a front diff and tcase. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Hey guys, I've lurked this site for some time now but decided to join up. I'm currently working on a 2004 GMC Sierra that I am looking to convert to AWD and will be boosting soon. My last "truck" was a 98' GMC Sierra Z71, lifted, supercharged and nitrous. I've been an F-Body guy for a long time and built more than a hand full of them as well as many other things. Hopefully I can get alot of info here and hopefully I can provide some as well!!
