Yea the reason I say run hard is to get out of debt, save some money and get on with life. There's no future in being a OTR driver for a company. Your just wasting your life. But on the other hand, driving is good short term because your living expense is minimal. Your able to pay off loans and save quicker. Talk to TMC and see what they can offer you. Do they go Canada? There's extra money going across the border. Suffer a bit now, live a better life later.

You OTR guys are crazy to work for what some of these ripoff companies pay. I work out of the country right now driving a truck. I haul a lil more than the average truck does in the states (77,300 kgs = 170,400lbs) everyday, two trips daily. That being said, I get paid percentage and it's a way better pay. But you have to run as much as you can mentally handle(no life inside a cab 24/7). Even get creative with your l*gb**k (100% your risk/liability). And yes it's worth switching companies if the pay is guaranteed better. Forget about being loyal to a company. If times get tough they would drop you in a heartbeat. As a driver, only you can cover your own a**. Do what's best for you and your family! Good luck and Keep on trucking!!

Bridgestone Blizzak Winter Snow Tires
avtonomb replied to 2006IntimidatorSS's topic in Rims and Rubber
By far the best winter tire I ever ran! Especially on my AWD truck! Been in Alaska, Canada winter time. Drove the ALCAN highway couple times during winter. All on my blizzacks. Only thing is don't drive on them spring time or summer AT ALL! Very soft rubber so they will get eaten quick. Don't buy studded tires almost Completly useless compared to blizzacks. -
nos... new gm front ss bumper cover. still in box,
avtonomb replied to ted gerlach's topic in For Sale/ Wanted
Is that just the bumper cover or does it include the brake ducts too? If you have the complete setup I'll take it! -
^^^ good find. I never give any one company all my business. Need to shop a little. Usually end up saving a lot more in the long run.

Tranny flush with 130,000+?
avtonomb replied to 4Runner's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
I don't know guys, I had my trans flushed at 50k miles and refilled with Royal Purple fluid. I'm at 106k now and she runs good! But of course, to flush possibly the first time at 130k miles, that's a different story.... -
low mile 03 red SS for sale in MN 23k miles 22 k price
avtonomb replied to 9secty's topic in SSs & VHOs Only
that driver leather seat doesn't look like 23k miles. I have 106k miles on mine and it looks better, less creases. and the DIC shows annual miles. maybe that guys mistaken. -
Wow that's a good deal!

What about K. Brown Customs? Member on this site. Supposedly sold hids, good price, lifetime warranty. I wonder if he's still around. Might be better to deal with him instead of DDM.

Better stock up on ammo. Very fun rifle to shoot! 500 rounds in a day is easy to go through. Look into a Slide-Fire stock. Not pretty or really practical but the fun factor is off the charts.

Would you reconsider selling the rims/wheels? I can pick them up

Don't forget to fuel up lol

I ordered the exact ones too a couple years back (ebay crap) and when I got them I didnt installed them for awhile, about a year later I put them on (lol) and the passenger side light doesn't work!!! Of course the warranty expired by then so I got a brand new set of tails gathering dust. once you get them check them!

Old owner prob used stopleak before. Plugged up his heater so he cut the hose to clean the heater? Garden hose try to force it to get it to flow? I'm just speculating. Is that even possible lol

I bought my U2-55 22" from a dealer somewhere in Cali. Brand new with lexani rubbers $1350. Found him on eBay.

Tell them you going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Sometimes gets things rolling

Good answer, but my truck is stock other than CAI, magnaflow and used to be Wheatley tune. They're from the factory fans

Recently had some problems that got fixed at Chevy dealer (water pump replaced and tranny issue). After I got the truck back the efans are always on. Cold, hot, ac on/off, basically always on! Never did that before. They did have to reflash the PCM back to stock to diagnose the tranny so I lost my tune. Any ideas? 90k miles ( tried search couldn't find an answer)

26s too big for our trucks IMO plus a lot of them really heavy. Too much wear and tear on the power train if you not easy on the throttle
