  1. Zach does anybody here know about your new setup? If so I might have to ask around since you're so secretive!! And I'm going with 4.30s I just need to find somebody to install them around here. Where are you from?^
  2. Well after that I think I've decided on 4.30s! I have a fairly heavy wheel and zippy also told me if I go with a 4.10-4.56 it would be less stress on the trans too. I don't think I would notice a 4.10 enough and a 4.56 is a little overkill so a 4.30 should be fine.
  3. My tire is 32 inches tall. At 70 I'm right at 2000 rpm. I did some calculations and it said with 4.56s I'd be at 2400 at 70. I drive mostly in town and a little highway but not much. I know I want at least 4.30 but I can't decide if I want to jump up to a 4.56
  4. I'm just cammed and stalled but I can't decide between a 4.30 or 4.56 gear! I know ill spin more but I can take care of that.
  5. I haven't posted in forever but as you all know I have factory 3.73s and I want a different gear. I wouldn't notice 4.10s barely at all but would 4.56s be a good choice? I've recently gone to a 20x12 wheel and stayed with my 305/50/20 nitto 420 but it needs more gear. Any suggestions on what brand gears and how much and install should cost, or how hard it would be to do myself, ill be pulling the axle housing no matter what anyways.

  8. Okay so I love had my truck back for a whole since the trans problems.. I now have a built unit and want to spray some. My motor is stock with the cam and springs in my sig. I'm running tr6 plugs right now and I was thinking of just a 50-100 wet shot just for fun sometimes. I have no clue where to start looking for kits. I was hoping one of you know of a good kit for our trucks. Any help is appreciated guys.

  10. My buddy has a 2012 r/t. All he has is the mopar intake and he was running consistent 14.5s at the track. His best was a 14.414 at 95 I think. I personally raced him from a 15 roll on the street and beat him by about 6 car lengths.. But I'm cammed too. When I was just bolt ons me and him were dead even. The r/t trucks have a 2800 stall stock, 4.11s and a beefier tranny. They're pretty quick for being bone stock. But the non r/t dodges aren't anything special.
  11. It was a stock 65e with just vette servo and a tru cool 40k on it. Considering the 65e is only made to take 380ftlbs I'm very surprised it didn't go a long time ago. I'm gonna have mine built now though so hopefully ill have it back running strong in a week or two.. Or three lol.
  12. At least I learned that Dallas raceway is one sticky track. I was going full out off the light and didnt spin one bit. Dead hooked. Time for a built tranny
  13. Still in Crandall. I made it 15 miles then decided to call a tow truck. So it'll be making the journey home on a flatbed. I'm honestly really surprised the stock 65e lasted this long.
  14. Well good news and bad news. Good news is my best ET was 13.7 at 97.. 1.9 60ft. Ill post the test tomorrow. Bad news is I think my tranny is done. It runs fine in 1st and 2nd but slips bad in 3rd and 4th. Zippy and zach said my 3-4 clutch packs are done. Guess ill check it all out tomorrow and try to make the 2 hour drive home. Wish me luck...
  15. Ill let you know next time we go! I hope I can hook pretty well. That's my only problem. I have a buddy that has a new awd Denali with full bolt ons and I can beat him on the street.. But he has 24s he's running 17s tonight so we will see how that goes lol.
  16. going to dallas raceway in crandall, tx today for test n tune! any tips guys? trying to hook the best i can on aired down 305/50/20 nitto 420s. two other members will be there. im sure zachm89 will be there in his z28 and he told me mr. p will be there in his truck. hoping to have some good times to show for all the work today! my goal is a 13.7 @ 98-100 wish me luck! will post time slips tonight or tomorrow.
  17. Do y'all have a part number for either if those? Would strapping my front end help any? I just need traction I know Caltracs would help a lot though.
  18. I have a 2wd vmax. It's creeping up on 100k miles still on the stock shocks. I need something that will help with traction as much as possible. I don't have a clue about how to fix my traction problem so I was hoping some of y'all could help me learn lol. I'm open to any suggestions. I watched a cammed and stalled 2wd tbss launch the other night and it left me spinning at the light, it just squatted and went. I have no clue what I need to do to get mine like that. Any help here guys! I need shocks!!
  19. Zippy sent another update and we loaded it up and it's working pretty perfectly!! It's surged at one light but it never died othe then that the converter is locking perfectly and I'm finally getting the mileage I'm supposed to. Turns out it was all in the tune. Thanks for all the help guys!
  20. Update for everybody, zippy is sending another update and we will try that out.. The surging has gotten better so I'm pretty sure it's just a tuning issue
  21. Could my pushrods be the wrong length? They're tsp 7.4 which I thought was the normal. Any mechanical things y'all think it could be just say it and ill check it. At this point I just want the thing done lol.
  22. Yeah I've talked to him. It has to be mechanical because even with logs it's not right.. And I know zippy is better than that. He's done a truck with the exact same cam I'm running with no problems. I just don't understand how the truck can run so good but won't idle in gear. I'm not even sure what to check anymore. Any ideas on what all I should check?
  23. It will idle if I just shift it from park into gear while I'm stopped.. But if I come to a stop it just revs up and down and dies. Every once in a while it will settle and idle after a few revs up and down.. If in turning at low speed and let off the gas it will just die right away. We did the crank relearn, or well I think. I guess there's no way of telling if it worked or not.
  24. Okay. Do you think it would be better to two foot it or drive it normal and let it die? A friend thinks it's something to do with throttle position sensor or idle air sensor if I even have those lol. It's just like there's too much load on the motor in gear or something. Oh and mine is idled at 750 but when I put it in gear it drops to about 700 I think
  25. Sorry I hit post on accident.. Anyways I thought with some logs it would be perfect this time. Is there anything else y'all think it could be? They keep saying drive it and it will learn but I tried that last time and it didn't change one bit. Any help here guys?
