  2. The upholstery shop said they're heat molded together or something but I've seen them done a ton of times but idk where to have it done
  3. Well I did my headliner in black suede a while back.. It's a pain in the ass to get right if you don't use the right materials.. Which I didn't.. So I have to do it again and I'm not gonna cheap out on materials lol. But I need to know if anyone knows how to do the visors!! I called the shop that did my back seats but they said they couldn't do it. I've seen them done in suede tons of times.. I should've asked the guys at the shows that had it done where they had it done. I was just wondering if anybody knows anybody who can do it or how to do it. Or if I could buy some from somebody or something.. I'm open to shipping them off to somebody and paying for them to do it.. I know this is a weird topic but any help would be appreciated guys!!

  5. Yeah he was trying to help us figure it out before we finally just decided to do some logs and he will retune it and fix it. So we will see how it goes!
  6. We're gonna do some logs for zippy and he can just email me a new tune. Should've done that first.. Lol but what year was your buddy's 5.3? Cause the newer ones like mine don't have a pcv valve is all in the driver side valve cover. So I don't think it's that.. I'm sure it's just in the tune. Ill let you all know when it's finally figured out!! Hopefully some track times very very soon! What do y'all think it could run? I've been playing around with a few launch techniques and I've figured out how to not make it spin too bad. I clocked one 0-60 at 4.5 seconds with very minimal wheel hop.. Hopefully it'll be a good ET considering before it pulled 0-60 in 5.7...
  7. I might try that. I'm pretty sure PVC valves are pretty cheap right? Or am I wrong. Anyways I might try that if not ill just have zippy tune it again
  8. It's all pointing to the tune now.. I've run seafoam in the tank ad ran it through the vacuum lines and cleaned everything and double checked it all, so it's either the tune or something is wrong with the injectors. I'm not throwing any codes. It threw a MAF code but it was because it got some filter oil on it an I cleaned it again and it's still not right. It's still acting up.
  9. The only two things it could be is either the tune or something to do with the injectors. That's the only stuff that is new.. It idled fine before, it wasn't perfect because it was a rough tune but it idled. Now I have no clue what it is. Cleaning the the TB and MAF helped a ton but it didn't fix the surging and it still dies a lot. Just when I pull up to a light and come to a stop it'll just rev up and down and die. The converter doesn't lock up either ill be going 60 and the rpms are at 2500 or more.. So many problems
  10. I'm gonna try all that stuff tonight. I'm not sure how the injectors were stored or how long they say up.. We're kinda thinking it's either the injectors are dirty themselves or the harness adapters I got aren't good or something. How do I clean te injectors? Will seafoam work?
  11. Ill try that. Any other suggestions? I'm gonna run some seafoam through the vacuum lines and I already put some in the tank. At the point ill try anything.
  12. well the TB was filthy, i cleaned it as well as the MAF and as far as i could get my hand in the intake. it idles in drive now but its still acting really weird. the converter doesnt lock up only when i first start driving then it wont go into lock up again, its got plenty of fluid and ive checked everything i can think of. when i come to a stop it drops real low the revs up then does it a few more times then either just dies or idles fine.. its surging pretty bad. other than the idle and lock up problems, it runs like an animal. it really screams with those 6500 rpm shifts! im thinking the problem is either in the tune or fuel pump.. or the injectors could just be really dirty theyre used and im not sure how long they sat up. any suggestions?
  13. Mines idled at 750.. I think I'm gonna try to clean the tb and the maf and try that.
  14. Well idk what it could be. It idles perfectly in park. It runs great and everything else is perfect. It just won't idle In gear. It's a new PCM he sent me and I've read it might have to adapt or relearn.
  15. I got my tune from zippy and got everything installed.. We did the relearns and stuff but we had to fight with it to get it to idle in park. It would just die. Then zippy told us how and we go it to idle. But the. When I tried to drive away the second I put it in gear it dies. Zippy said it might just need to learn for a few days but I just want to know if there's anything else there could be? It tries to idle in reverse but dies.. And it just dies right away when I put it in drive. Any suggestions?
  16. i have that cam. i got a custom ground one though with a 112+4 lsa and it has great power and sounds ridiculous. i went with 36lb flex fuel injectors but have yet to install them cause im still waiting on the full tune from zippy to get here. even with the injectors maxed out it pulls super hard with my 3200 stall. youll be happy with it imo if you want lope and performance.
  17. I can kinda give it like half throttle right off the line and then just bury the pedal right after and it hooks pretty well.. I'm just wanting to get a good time ad I can air my tires down and air them back up for the drive home. I might try to get a set of dr's. what size should I try to get? I can get 2 17s pretty cheap I just need to get some tires for em. What are you running fireman? And do they hook pretty good?
  18. so zippy is about to send me my tuned pcm, and when that gets here i will install my injectors and the truck will finally be done. im going to go to the track as soon as i can which will probably be not this weekend but the next. ive only been to the track with a stock converter and no cam.. i cant get this thing to hook on the street for the life of me now with the 3200. my last runs were 14.56 @ 94 with a 2.1 60ft.. it bogged out of the hole bad. my tune was pretty terrible and now i switched to zippy. i dont know what kind of times to expect, or how to get this thing to hook. my nitto 420s didnt spin at all when i heated them up at the track but they werent aired down at all i had i think 35 pounds in em. my cam and stall specs are in my sig. i just need to know how to make this bitch hook up! any help would be appreciated guys!

  20. i finished my cam swap and had my new coverter installed about three weeks ago, for the first week after i finished it, i couldnt drive the truck at all because it wouldnt idle and i was told its bad to drive without a tune with a cam. it took a week for my tuner (a local guy) just to get me a base tune so it would idle and be drivable. he always claims hes so busy. i didnt put my injectors in then because my adapters didnt come in. since then he has told me several times that he would get me a dyno day and a tune. everytime he has backed out on me, he never answers his phone, never calls me when he says he will and hes just impossible to work with and is terrible at running a business. ive been done with my truck for weeks now and still cant go WOT cause the injectors are well over maxed out. my buddy in town (zachm89) uses zippy, he just uses his wideband and zippy just emails a tune, but i dont have hptuners and i dont know how to get in touch with zippy or how the process even works, or how much it is. if yall could help me out with understanding how to get zippy to tune it i would appreciate it. thanks guys.
  21. Okay so I got my cam and stall and everything in and. I'm taking it today to get tuned. But I have the nnbs flex fuel truck injectors and I have new ev6 connectors to splice onto the stock wiring. The little instruction sheet that came with the connectors says that it doesn't matter which wire goes where. Is this true? I'd hate to wire it all up and then have the wires backwards. I'm sorry if I put this thread in the wrong place I just need help now lol.
  22. its been done for months now haha. i put this on here cause another member asked for more pictures so here they are. go look at the finished picture.. well it wasnt completely done the cover wasnt perect on the seat but its close lol.
