I would check for the rear end. My dad's 04 only has a 2.73 rear and B&B bullet cat back and best we could do so far this year is 13.339 @105.33 with a 2.074 60'. Another guy has simailr car with, i think, cai, full exhaust, and drag radials and a 3.42 rear I forget exactly but it is lower that the 2.73 for sure and when ran against holty he ran a 12.5?. It was nice to see holty's truck right there with the vette.

Well if i had the money. I would do a complete color change to hugger orange(maybe with racing stripes). Or if i had a black truck I would do some sort of flames with blues and purples.

I had my cc company call me once. Back in 97 I bought a Mac clone for 3k from power computing in texas. The cc company was calling to see if I purchased the "abnormal" charge. Normally I would only charge around 100 to 200 dollar items and they were usually local. It is nice to know that they check up like that.

Well since I am driving an 04 now how many differences would I have to look out for if I wanted to copy the values from my 03 tune to the 04 using HPT? Lets just say I liked several things about the 03 tune that was in my truck better than the tune that is in the 04. They were both tuned by two different tuners and both ran well. I just think that my 03 tune ran a little better and would liek to see if it is the tune or jsut the truck. Are there tables that I would not want to touch at all between the two years? Or can I pretty much copy over one tune to the other.

I have recently traded my dad trucks and I am now driving his which has the magnaflow system on it. I put the system on two years ago and forget if the muffler opens up into one area in the center or not. The reason I am asking is because I want to go louder by using just the two resonators already welded into place on the two front pipes. By deleting the muffler I was planning on just running two pieces of pipe and still exit out the rear. If the muffler that came with it has an internal "x-pipe" or balance chamber is it worth it to add an x-pipe that far back on the exhaust since everywhere I have read has them closer to the front. And yes it would go that far back since I do not plan on cutting any of the existing pipe. I just want to clamp it up so I can put back on the muffler when I want to. So i guess the question is an x-pipe or h-pipe that far back wroth it or should i just but in the two pieces of straight pipe?

I use my old model 98 which you can get now for around 100 new. I got it when they first came out. I have put on a smart parts 14" barrel and a tippmann expansion chamber and a different hopper. total costs have been kept down and it has always performed rather well for me. I usually play in the woods though. If I was playing speed ball I would definitely buy something different with a faster fire rate.

I personally use Linux for just about everything that I do but I was wondering are you going to buy a desktop or a laptop? If you are getting a Laptop then definitely get Windows, that way you can buy some tuning software for your truck.

Well we got down to the dealer today and dad picked up his Silverstone TBSS. I am now the proud owner of an 04 Arrival blue SS. So now have a vehicle with 35000 miles less and I also picked up one more year of warranty.

Well I was on vacation this past week at Myrtle Beach. At the hotel I stayed at I parked on the top level of the garage so I could look out the window in the hallway and look down on my truck. Anyways me and my wife are going to dinner last night and walk off the elevator towards the the truck. At the same time we both notice that the passenger window is not there. So we both think for the worst. I run over look into the truck. No glass and doors are all locked. Dumbass me forgot to put the window up the night before. I had it down to ask my wife how close i was to the wall so I didn't hit it. In the process of getting my daughter out of the car and our friend's packages I did not go back to that side of the truck and did not notice the window. At least two good things came out of it. One nothing was disturbed, taken or damaged inside the truck and I am very lucky it didn't rain like it did the night before. I am guessing that the window was down for about 20 hours. Oh well I just had to share that I am a bonehead.

Well my dad will be getting a tbss tomorrow morning. He wants to know if I will trade in my truck and I can then have his. I currently have 54k miles on mine and his has about 19k. The only other difference is that he has xm. So far with similar upgrades mine is still faster. What should I do?

Not going this week. Wife is out of town this week and I have to watch my daughter. By the time I would get up their it would almost be time to go back home for her bedtime. Plus on top of that I have tons of work to do for Friday. Have fun.

I have run both. I just switched to a vr6 since I got a good deal on it. I wanted to test it out. I am getting basically the same times at the track as best i can with the differences in weather playing a factor. I like the looks of the volant better but the filter seems to stay cleaner longer with the vr6. It seems like i picked up more crap with the lower scoop with the volant.

I still have my 87 Honda 250X. I haven't ridden it in a while but plan to get it back out before the end of the summer. I need to replace rear bearings and tune it up a little. Here is a picture taken a long time ago at Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
