  1. Hello all, I am fixing to bite the bullet on collecting parts for a swap. The truck it is going in is a RCSB v6 2007 classic (03-06 body style). I am very picky about my truck and want it to be a clean swap so when it is done it looks OEM. This is pretty much the only forum I trust about doing things the right way so I figured I'd ask. For those of you who have done this swap before or have any pointers I would love to hear about it, perhaps it will help me and others down the road. I am curious as to which accessories will work/not work from my v6 along with other issues to watch out for. A parts list would be great!

    Thanks guys!

  2. I have seen lots of valuable information on this website regarding cutting and molding the cab corners and rocker panels for a RCSB but do not have much body work experience myself. As hard as OEM cladding is to find I would hate to mess it up. Has anyone had it done by a professional body shop or does anyone do body work that might have an idea what I would be looking to be spend with all parts provided to the shop? I remember the last time I spoke to a body shop about cladding the shop said roughly $750 to paint all the cladding or $1000 for paint and installation but I had not mentioned the molding process. Thanks!

  3. If you have the 03-07 body style rather than the late 07+, I believe a 4" in the rear is as low as you can go before you have to cut the frame (and even then some people still do a cnotch with a 2/4). I have had a 2" drop, a 2/4, and now roughly a 4/7 and daily drive it in pretty easily for the most part in DFW. If you need any pictures of it at different stages to see how it sits I can upload some. A 3/2 wont sit level at all, if anything it would be more rake than the factory.

  4. I know a lot of people have bought from Norcal, if I remember right I saw somewhere on this site awhile back where it was said that the brand he sells holds up better than the others but I could be wrong. If you have any questions I'd try shooting him a message, here is a link to his store.

    - Edit -

Nevermind, I just noticed that he only sells chrome ones. I think your best bet is going to be just to rock the ebay ones. I'm surprised they are finally selling them in silver, I kinda want to buy a set now too :jester: .

  5. I've seen this guy on instagram before but he makes them out of fiberglass instead. However this wing looks different, have you guys seen it yet?

It resembles the cresspo wing but is built in more of the style of the Intimidator SS. What do you guys think about it?
